On to the Jets!

Both team have injuries and deficiencies, in no way do I think this game is a cake walk. Jets are coming off of a great win against a formidable opponent.

It's a double whammy. Shaky offense that can't count on a kicker. Destined to lose us a game.
Jets don't have a OL either so...... it balances out. Darnold sacked 12 times.
I didn't mean this game specifically. Maybe this one, maybe a future game. But until either our offense gets better or our kicker (whoever it is) gets better, I think we'll look back at some game in which the kicker loses it for us. Directly, by missing kicks or indirectly by going on 4th due to lack of confidence. I hope I'm wrong.

Worried about our offense tonight.

I know you got nothing but "disagrees" for this, but how can anybody not be worried about an offense with:

- Gordon out, Dorsett iffy
- no fullbacks
- no tight ends who have played a game for the Patriots this decade
- shotgun snaps still aiming at Brady's forehead
- Marshall f'in Newhouse at left tackle

And the Jets have a very good defense. Not great, but good. I do expect a win because I think the advantage of Pats' D over Jets' O is huge, but the game could be an ugly slog.

Your avatar or whatever it is, is awesome, but I think a little premature.

1/2 of my brain is nervous about this game for the reasons you state. The other 1/2 says, "C'Mon man! It's the Jets!" I guess we'll just have to see.

The kicker wasn't that bad. It was really windy for the Giants game which is why neither team chanced long kicks. The Pats finally did and it was a doink off the upright, so he almost made it despite the windy conditions. He made all the X-Pats. I am more worried about the injuries to our receivers for tonight's game. Go Patriots!

The only teams that may give us issues the rest of the way are Jete at Jete Stadium and the Ratbirds.

For this game I think it’s a legitimate question to ask who scores more Pats D/ST or the Jete O? Honestly wouldn’t surprise me if the Pats win that way 14-9.

Anybody else love playing on Monday Night? I feel like most people here hate anytime but 1.

I’m a fan of it. I like not having to cut the weekend short/being worried about getting home to a tv in time on Sunday.

I don't love it or hate it, but the night games mess me up because I work fairly early in the morning. The only time I specifically prefer earlier start times is on championship weekend. I like either being able to A) skip the NFCCG because I'm pissed, or B) Watch it in a drunker, elated stupor, knowing I'm just watching to see who we play in the Super Bowl. You know, typical spoiled Pats fan stuff :D

some people on here can’t even began to be objective. You’re right, I don’t see how you can’t be at least a bit worried about it.

I loath the MNF crew, both in the booth, and on the sidelines (except for Moss), especially that Booger ****** in his flying contraption on the sidelines and his dimwit gems of wisdom. Absolutely unbearable to listen to.

Really has lost its feel, Gruden and Torico were much better.

I love the Jets +10 from an unbiased standpoint. I’ll be happy to lose the few bucks I put on it. It’s usually a slugfest when we go down to Jersey.

I think it depends on what the word "worried" means to you. They're averaging 26 points per game on offense (when you take away the D/ST scores), which is 12th in the league even if you allow all the other teams to keep their non-offensive points. Certainly not a juggernaut, but given how well the defense is playing, and the fact that the Pats haven't had a full compliment on offense (or even the same group of players two weeks in a row really), being likely in the top ten in scoring is fine. I'm not going to "worry" about something that is better than 20 other teams.

Not to mention our best, most experienced coaching minds are on the offensive side of the ball. Scar, McDaniels, Belichick (who is involved), and even counting Brady, I don't think it's "not being objective" to have some faith that they'll figure it out. Worried? Not quite yet.

Tell us how you really feel!
