I'm with Brady and Belichick on this. I thought, maybe, this wasn't just a notable SB win possibility enhancer but a good chance at a story of redemption. However, the person who signs the checks disagreed. Unless there's another world I'm unaware of, the person who signs the checks will make decisions that not everyone on his staff will agree with. IME the person who signs the checks will always have, from time to time, decisions I didn't agree with. Don't like it? Go find a different 'person who signs the checks' staff to be on. That's the world we live in.

AB is gone. Whether it was a good or bad decision by the person who signs the checks is moot. He's gone, on to the Bills.

I’m pretty sure this guy is a Chiefs fan and is just here to troll.

I guess the tourch was passed from the irrational chiefs fan to this troll.

Brady is dead wrong. The texts trying to bully and intimidate his accuser was way over the line, and Brown’s bullsh.t drama queen act was never going to end. Good riddance.

Maybe an NFL player with 20 years experience and NFL coach with 40 years experience have a better idea of what “over the line” is....they also have talked to Brown and actually know his perspective, and my guess is being public figures they are also aware of many legal issues like this. But you are qualified to say he’s dead wrong?

The Boss is an idiot and might not be acting in the best interest of the organization? The Boss has bad judgment?
I guess it depends on how you define “organization” in this case. It is his organization and he is going to do what is best for it. Only part of that organization plays on Sundays. Of course is not infallible but over the decades he has proven to make excellent decisions when considered from a broad perspective.

Anyway whatevs, I’m not going to argue.

I don't know for sure if he did or didn't. But neither do you.

3 days after the Pats beat Chiefs?

Ok I got it. You're just a troll.

You’re not too informed, are you?
Did you actually read the scientific analysis from the MIT expert?

Cold & rainy weather causes balls to lose pressure when brought from a warm locker room out onto a cold field

Didn’t you ever try dribbling a basketball outside in the winter when you were a kid?

League officials only tested one Indianapolis football after the game and it was also under minimum pressure

I’ll eagerly await your reply

Also, don’t you love how the Patriots never relent in games they’re winning by 21 or more points? It’s awesome, isn’t it?

You're getting trolled by this guy.

He is 100% a troll. None of his posts are positive in any way, shape or form.

1. He apparently deflated footballs. Against league rules. Was suspended 4 games. Putting team at disadvantage. Bottom line is he did his team a disservice with the suspension.

2. He never attends mini camps. And Felger has reported that Brady has been whining about the receivers. I sometimes question how much work Brady puts in with the rookies.

Kraft to attorneys: dig up everything you can on the Jupiter PD, involving any dirt in their past, to cast doubt on their investigation (see the case files - it’s right in there.)

Brown to attorney: dig up everything you can on this lady, involving any dirt in her past, to cast doubt on her claims. She’s broke and here’s a picture of her kids, why she may be looking for money (admittedly, this was not a good tactic.)

Seems quite analogous to me.

When Kraft tells his lawyers to look into the cops (which I don't believe he did they went after procedure not the police themselves) while CC'ing the cops and including pictures of the cops' kids then your comparison will stand.

Brown is an idiot, but it’s clear the context he is not threatening her kids. He is making a comment that she is not broke. Is it poor taste? Absolutely. Would I be infuriated and call the police if someone did it to me? Likely. But Brown is an idiot. It’s clear that he was not implying her kids are in harm’s way.

That said, I can’t really defend him. The text was so stupid he only has himself to blame. I’m just pointing out that Kraft’s defense strategy was similar in attacking credibility and looking for past misconduct, albeit in a much more smarter and appropriate way using attorneys.

I don’t know how I feel about Brown anymore other than it gives me a headache to think about. I just wish Jonathan Kraft would take over the team and know they’re in good hands at the ownership level. When it comes to league issues and the Patriots, they always get bent over like willing fools. We know Kraft is a giant ****y who can’t handle any criticism or pressure from the league and his fellow owners. So it’s hard to tell if this was a “principled” decision or if Bob just couldn’t handle some negative PR.

I know the Chiefs have Tyreek Hill - and even extended him - and the Patriots do not have Antonio Brown. Hill’a threat was a much more vile one; Brown’s was not good but more ambiguous.

Your description of Kraft reminds me of someone in the daily news.

Based on what I have read about Brown's contract and the Patriots actions, I think the Pats owe him $9 M.

  1. No, he didn't apparently deflate footballs.
  2. Not attending voluntary minicamps isn't a "Mistake"
  3. You're being a troll.

Again, the league apparently thought he deflated footballs. I didn't say I did.

I never said he deflated footballs. For god sakes!!

And I don't mind the team keeping their foot on the gas pedal up 21. I do mind the QB dropping back and taking endzone shots up 37-0. The risk of injury worries me.
