Well that addresses Brady not agreeing with it, which doesn’t surprise me but it doesn’t say anything about bb not agreeing with it.

I don't know whether BB agrees with it or not. I would suspect no, because his business is putting together best team possible while Kraft's business is... business, but I haven't seen evidence of that like I have with Brady.

AB engineered his own exit and then took far less money. Seems he did everything possible to show he wants to be at a contender except send you a personal handwritten note detailing his intention. Then again, you’ll probably not believe him even then.
Someone just commented on my response to this.
I think this is one you would like to take back @Biffins :D
Just kidding, pretty much everyone who spoke about brown had a few comments they’d like back.

AB posted a new instagram pic in Patriots colours talking about being held to an unfairly high standard.

I agree with him. But what's more Tom Brady agrees with him. Tom instantly "liked" AB's post within minutes.

What's going on here? Why is AB posting this in Pats colours. Why is Brady liking this post about AB being treated unfairly?

He is coming back

He is coming back

I hope so just for the sheer amount of egg that would be on some peoples' faces around here. His situation isn't even remotely close to played out. Normally, I'd say going off on Kraft is a surefire way for that to not happen, but Mankins said some pretty personal stuff about ol' Tuggy and still came back with a new deal. We will see.

He's so full of sh*t.

It's one thing to make innocent, naive, youthful mistakes. It's another thing to repeatedly do egregiously selfish, toxic, harmful things while simultaneously pushing the whole "call god" bullsh*t.

I'd have more sympathy for the guy is his angle was, "I've made some really poor decisions and hurt those around me, and I'm doing everything in my power to grow, evolve, and become a better person".

But no, it's always someone else's fault, he's a victim, and the world either revolves around him, or is out to get him.

Even if we say the accusations against him are completely fabricated and illegitimate (the Taylor accusation seems extremely weak, whereas the muralist allegation seems ironclad solid and credible), his actions in the aftermath when he texted the muralist was entirely his own mistake. Instead of owning that misstep, he instead blamed others and lashed out. And that's not touching all the other stuff he's done, such as the piranha tank nonsense, the furniture tossing, the woman with the injuries to her arm, the Pittsburgh locker room recording, the Oakland circus, and the multiple people claiming that he owes them money via unpaid bills.

This is the same guy who tacitly encouraged death threats against Klemko when he said "system working effectively" in response to the news that Klemko was receiving death threats for the article he wrote re: Brown.

Why Tom continues to support this guy, considering the fact that Tom himself has kids, is beyond me. I get him wanting to be a positive, compassionate, uplifting person, but the smoke signals via social media are a bit much.

He's an absurdly good receiver and I really wish he didn't text that woman, which was asinine at best, and threatening, manipulative, and intimidating at worst, because he'd still be on the team and he'd fit so well here; he's really the perfect receiver for this offense and for Brady.

But he did text that woman, among many other things prior to that. It's not a fluke or an innocent mistake; it's toxic behavior from a guy who has shown zero contrition, thoughtfulness, selflessness, or self-reflection at any point through his career.

I really hope he has a revelation and finds an ethical foundation, for both his sake, and for the sake of those around him.

FIFY.

Why you defending klemko? He’s a pos who beat up a cab driver. He clearly had an agenda imo. Brown is an a hole and probably just wanted to move on but of course klemko digged up some dirt from the past to show his character and printed it out on a national sports magazine with the consent of the painter. He probably knew that would set him off. I still don’t believe the texts where threatening or what not but everyone has their opinion over it. Hopefully the nfl comes to a decision soon about it.

At no point did I defend Klemko; I suggested that it's problematic for Brown to tacitly endorse death threats against him. It doesn't matter if Klemko had an unfavorable agenda (which is total speculation), that doesn't make it okay to send death threats his way.

I suspect the NFL will take their time making a decision because Brown will not be on an NFL roster for the foreseeable future.

No way he returns.

Regarding Klemko, he’s a troll and that story regarding “the artist” and “unpaid debts” had nothing to do with the Brittney Taylor allegations. Now had he dug up dirt on the Brittney Taylor allegations, that’s a different story.

Whether the texts were threatening or not, he should’ve ignored the Klemko story. I don’t know if he’d still be a Patriot without the text because press conferences were getting pretty bad as all they wanted to talk about was Brown. But then again, that would give BB an excuse not to talk to the media. :p

How much for the contract if he comes back ...

He is coming back
Hope so.

Guy is undoubtedly a nutcase, but I would bet my house that if those allegations never came out, he’d still be here and would be as quiet as a church mouse.

I hope for his sake they’re not true and he clears this all up. Then and only then he can come back and focus strictly on football.

But first the media firestorm needs to settle down.

AB will be a modern day Jimmy Hoffa ... is he buried or not?

I'm blaming Kraft if he signs with the Chiefs.

I read that Nino Brown is taking a tech writing class at Central Michigan. I could always use a good tech writer. Hope he types as fast as he runs.

Regards,
Chris

I remember Nino Brown from New Jack City, were you reminded of him?

Why would Kraft sign with the Chiefs? Hell, if he does that I'll blame him too!

Are we sure AntoNino Brown isn't Wesley Snipes?

- Brown is fast. Willie Mays Hayes is fast.

- Snipes left the Major League franchise, leaving Omar Epps to fill the void. Brown left the Steelers, leaving his Epps doppelganger of a coach to fill the void.

- Brown doesn't pay his bills. Snipes doesn't pay his taxes.

Don't see it? Then SIT yo five dolla ass down before I make change!

Regards,
Chris
