Antonio Brown

The 2nd tweet has me worried. Somebody has to get to him and get to a hospital now.

.

I've been guilty of saying things in the past like "that dude is out of his mind!, heh, heh" or "he is crazy", when describing someone who has done a crazy action of some type. I've known an individual with serious mental health problems and it is not funny.

As you say, his behavior (it almost seems like he is purposely trying to destroy his life) really isn't in the "he's crazy" mode anymore, I really wonder if he is having some type of very serious cognitive or mental health problem. I hope it isn't concussion induced, because that wouldn't really be his fault.

Admittedly, I take a perverse joy in chaos.

But I find the shots at Sharpe, Ringburglar, and Kraft hilarious. The self-destruction of AB will be entertaining if nothing else.

Nino Brown just realized business ain't boomin.

Regards,
Chris

So.....who else is excited to see Harris get some snaps today with White out?

I'm not a lawyer or anything. But none of his tweets really affect the rape case per say. The only question is how much his tweets affect his chances of being signed by a team this season.

Perhaps not the Patriots best hiring decision . . .

He is hurting, he needs social media to make he feel good. Just lashing out like a child. This is a classic case of NPD. The smile of his was never genuine. There is a lot of hurt behind it.

He wanted to be called Mr big chest, but Mr small brain would have been much better suited..
Guy destroyed his career, his hof case, lost 20 millions, sponsors and a chance of another ring

I will be very surprised if NE can use the Kraft tweet against him.

Once they cut him both sides were released from any obligations under the contract other than those they agreed would continue past the end of the contract.

NE agreed to pay him $5mil on 23 Sept, whether or not the contract was in effect (that’s what a guarantee means here) so long as Brown obeyed the terms of the contract while he was under contract.

Once NE cut him Brown could do anything he wanted, but NE is still on the hook to pay the $5mil — because they agreed to pay him even if they cut him — unless they can prove he violated the contract terms while under contract.

Now, if Brown agreed to not disparage the team etc. even after being released then yeah, the tweet would matter, but I’d be very surprised if that’s the language.

I agree. This guy has ZERO going for him outside of football. If he thinks people find him fascinating because of anything other than his WR ability, then he is in for it.

I would think that with $78M in past earnings, he has way more than 0 going for him outside of football.

I said this right after they cut him:

Clearly the team did not do their due diligence, and properly research/vet Brown. If they had, I doubt they would've signed him in the first place.

Not that I think that's a particularly bad thing; sometimes you bring in talent for talent's sake and hope the culture that exists can any existing issues. Clearly in this case that culture could not.

I hope Brown gets the help he needs, be it medical and psychological.

Another ring?

Disagree with team not doing its diligence. There is no way they could have known about the pending suit absent Brown telling them. And if Brown was in confidential settlement negotiations he was not allowed to tell them.

NE could have found out about the lawsuits/unpaid debts Klemko did. But even if they did, I expect they rightly viewed them as small potatoes.

I'd say the person getting out of this with the most amount of **** on their pants is Rosenhaus. Either he didn't know his client had a civil suit pending or he just didn't mention it when they signed him because he anticipated it to go away.

Not sure which of the two is worse.

Without the civil suit being the catalyst, none of the other things would have been printed and triggered AB to go on that specific tirade.

Odds are he'd do something incredibly stupid in 1-2 weeks and end up cut anyway but that is a different story.

They took a swing, missed and course corrected almost immediately.
