This complaint obviously isn't good but it could have been a lot worse. At least he was covered and didn't touch her. There wasn't really a crime here as I understand it. Obviously not a good idea though and not respecting someone's boundaries like you should.

Not to defend his actions but it be helpful to remember athletes are use to being in naked or in towels around other people. I'm sure many athletes have gotten use to having casual conversation while in nothing but a towel.

Of course they don't do what Brown did here.

Well I certainly don't agree with that, and it would certainly be hypocritical of Kraft to not sign him on that basis given his own "allegations."

We should never strip a guy off our team for the crime of being accused of stuff. Once the accusation pasaes some kind of standard of proof, like it did for Aaron Hernandez, that's another matter. But literally anyone can accuse anyone of anything. I'm waiting for evidence.

Hard to make the distinction between a man who has behaved criminally and a man who has behaved "badly". Behaving badly is a young man's natural state. I doubt there is a man on this board who, upon looking back on it with mature reflection, hasn't been guilty of "behaving badly" with a woman. If you are lucky, as I was, you fine a woman who will train you into becoming a fully responsible human being, instead of a boy with toys.

At 31 you'd have hoped that Brown would be well past this adolescent stage of behavior. At best he clearly isn't. At worst his behavior is criminal. At this stage regardless it isn't pretty and it isn't going away.

The only very slight disagreement I have is it always seems that agree one comes there's two, three, four to follow. I'm not choosing sides or saying these women are lying. I don't know that. But every one of these types of cases happens this way, it seems. It's like they all wait for one to take the plunge and then everyone has a story to tell.

A lot of times that’s because they think they are the only one and so coming forward would likely do nothing but destroy them. One they know that at least someone else has had the same thing happen it makes it a lot easier to come forward.
