Antonio Brown

Did his agent know? If I am Rosenhaus, I am firing him as a client if he didn’t tell me.

If Rosenhaus knew then the Pats knew. How can he ever be able to negotiate in good faith with any team, if he knowingly withheld this information.
Maybe nobody knew till Tues? IDK

I'm not sure when AB's camp received the complaint?

The league cannot suspend Brown for this when Tyreke Hill situation was just swept underneath the rug.

Also, so everyone is aware and take from it what you will, NFL network has a short update report. No breathless opining, no reporters pretending they're lawyers, no wild speculation about suspensions.

At least not yet.

Unless a video or text messages or something threatening abuse or whatever comes to light I really don’t see how he gets suspended.
I just saw a post saying since this is a civil law suit as opposed to criminal charges he will not be automatically suspended. Of course Baddell can do WTF ever he wants to do so time will tell if he decides to do something out of left field.

Sure they can. Did you not pay any attention to Deflategate?
I understand the fear, but I think this precedent is even bigger than "get the Patriots"

I think he is inactive a few games while he catches up. Takes a few weeks to get acclimated to the offense. Story will quiet down a bit after a week or so.

You should never put your trust in the NFL. Ever.

I think the Pats will let the league investigate and not fight its decision, whatever it is.

True or not, the Patriots are acting like this was a surprise, and I don't see them going out on a limb for a guy they threw a career lifeline to who couldn't even play a single snap before **** started going sideways.

Do we know the second didn’t happen? Just to make sure we are keeping track of things here. I thought somebody somewhere in this thread said the police looked into it and didn’t want to pursue. Props to anyone that reads through all the legal documents lol.

No we don't as far as I am aware. I have strong suspicion that the police chief who oversees the region where the alleged assault took place will be asked to comment on whether the matter was brought to their attention. So ultimately we will find out soon enough.

In the past, the NFL has been criticized for going easy on players accused of sexual misconduct. With that in mind, several sources have suggested AB be placed on the exempt list right now until this whole mess gets sorted out. As much as I would like to see him in a Pats uni, I think that is probably what happens.
Adam Schefter's speculation isn't a "source".

Even his own reporting said the NFL considered it and decided against it.

I am so friggin sick of defending my team time
and time again over stupid things like this. Can’t we just have a normal start to the season and enjoy the game itself. We were just getting over what Kraft did and now this falls in our laps. AB might be totally innocent but we just do not need this headache. And letting go of DT a few hrs before this story broke - great job front office. Just so unnecessary. Sick of this crap. Want to talk football. This I totally blame on Pats.

Sitting him in your scenario only stretches out the story.

He practices, plays, and by next Tuesday nobody cares but Peter king and Michael felger
