We all know it would largely consist of a lot of profanity and conclusion jumping.I am trying to imagine what this thread would look like if the Pats had not signed him over the weekend.
The third option is you just go into it with an open mind and not assume every accuser is a liar. I don’t think anybody in this thread is even saying they think he’s guilty.I'm done with this thread , because the typical bleeding heart, PC police will spin this for weeks.
It makes me sick that you will assume he's guilty over this BS, without a clue of the facts.
Because a woman accuses a man (who JUST signed a huge contract) of rape after they have consensual sex.
Nah, nothing suspicious there.
YOU ARE WHY THEY DO IT!!!!!!!!
Enjoy your discussion. Sad

All of the other teams in the nfl will hire woman to make accusations against Brady, Gilmore, Hightower, Michel, both McCourtys and all our other players so we will have to cut them too.WTF?! Let’s just terminate someone’s employment because someone else made an accusation in civil court against him and is looking for money. Because we’ve seen as Patriots fans that these accusations are always genuine and never a dirty game.
Were you asking this about Edelman in 2011?
He can be cut for anything, and he can basically be suspended for anything. I'd say he's very unlikely to be cut or suspended for this though. Most people have already forgotten but Edelman had a sexual assault lawsuit against him in 2011, it was dropped eventually, and nothing happened.

We don’t care whether they are true right?
The first thing I thought when I heard about it on the radio, before I read this just now, was how odd the timing was, considering this supposedly happened a couple years ago; I thought, "cash grab." Not that it's impossible that he's guilty, but the timing is more than a little suspect. And the fact she's not pursuing criminal charges doesn't do a whole lot for her credibility. In her suit, Taylor says she wants compensation
She also wants punitive damages -- though she does not specify an amount
What...no criminal charges???
Shady.
Yeah
Yeah
So cut him on no evidence he did anything wrong
If most of this board was accused of rape, they would be fired on the spot. Not saying it's good, but no company wants to deal with this.Disagree with this. Put yourself in the accused shoes. How would you feel if your company fired you over a false lawsuit you didn’t commit?
Let’s let cooler heads prevail before jumping to conclusions.
YES. This isn't going to end today or tomorrow or next week. This is a thing that will hangover this mother****er for months if not several years. Unless he has definitive proof he can release in the next few days that it is ********, this team will be the team employing the guy being charged with rape. EVERY WEEK it will be brought up.
This post seems to kind of contradict your earlier one. I mean, we shouldn’t be saying we shouldn’t have signed the guy if this is a false accusation. Or maybe I’m missing something and I’m just tired. That is not how this society works these days. You get accused of something; you are GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY. Period.
Pats should have left this alone. We already had a good team. We don't need him. And we let Thomas go for this guy and gave him to the Jets.
Never a moment of peace for us Pats fans. Always something.
Good instincts from you then because in the end, he was proven to be innocent in the scenario. I thank God you’re not the GM.
