Trying to see if that $9M is actually guaranteed or if there's some kind of 'out' in the case of the worst case scenario and cutting ties with him as I've been hearing the contract is likely to have.
Bc last time he reported a major scoop about the Patriots, the team lost a 1rst round pick and Tom Brady got suspended for 4 games. Why are we giving any credence to anything Mort says ?
I don't know - don't the Raiders have to complain in order for there to be a tampering investigation? What are they going to complain about - that we took a $30 million dollar problem off their hands? They wanted to cut AB and not be on the hook for a lot of $$. For all we know, they called the Pats and said, "if we cut Antonio can you pick him up so he doesn't sue us?" Or, "Guess what? We're cutting AB so get that offer you were going to make him ready."It's going to happen.
Agreed. That is a major point that is not going to be discussed. So what if Brown did. There are no rules against being a jerk.
How so?
At first, i thought AB was going crazy
But if it was nothing but a premeditaded, architectured scheme, to get the Raiders to release him (and possibly for the Patriots to get him)... Are you confident they won't crusade against us?
Cause I am not. I remember Deflate gate so clearly. At first started like a joke, but i never started laughing
Exactly, gotta have a pre-scandal thread.I'm just referring to the information in the tweets. It's all stuff we heard yesterday, and none of it indicates tampering. AB doing everything in his power to get released just meant he had premeditated plans of leaving the Raiders. There's really no evidence that what happened afterward was premeditated beyond the obvious motivation factors. Of course the Patriots are one of AB's top choices if they offer the money they offered. Of course the Patriots want to bring in a guy like him. It's not evidence of tampering that they offered a trade for him during the offseason, either.
I don't get why we're starting this already. There will be a scandal but it hasn't even begun.
Anyone else really paranoid about a tampering investigation?
Damn. Now my "11 of 12 social media consultants" joke dies on the vine.11 of 12 reports he breaks are full of hot air.
