Granted I’m a lowly businessman with no background in meteorology, but where are they getting that this thing is supposed to turn? To my untrained eye, it’s barreling right at South Florida with no indication whatsoever that it’s turning north.

I’m pretty sure Alabama is going to get pummeled.

I hate donating to those who take a big cut or divert money.
Usually the smaller places that already help the poor are the best to send to.

My favorite beaches, especially Loggerhead. I'm 8 miles west of there, down Donald Ross Road.

The Weather Channel says a 56 mph wind gust was measured on the Juno Beach Pier

Salvation Army provides the highest percent in terms of providing direct aid. I made a promise after they fed us after 9/11 ( was a first responder ) and they kept "Sal's Bistro" open 24/7 while working that I will never walk past the kettle without donating....
In addition, they do wonders XMas time taking care of the less fortunate....
Charity Navigator will provide supporting data.....
