OT: Antonio Brown visits foot specialist

Scariest quote for Raiders if it's true: "They have zero clue where he is or what the progress of the foot injury is.”

He’ll be lucky if they aren’t amputated.

My memory is vague, but Brown isn't the first guy who's had this happen, right?

I'm so glad we didn't get this guy.

Gotta love it..

So is this the Raiders first de-feet of the season

Who will be the more embarrassing mistake, Brown or Bell?
I would have to say Bell. Lots of wear and tear on him even with the year off. He has had a few knee issues. His O-line is significantly worse and will have to adjust to his hesitation style. On top of that his coach thinks they overpaid for him and now that he is running the show may run him out of town at the first sign of trouble.

Wow after reading this thread from Michael Silver about AB I might say he ends up the bigger mistake. What a whack job. All this over a helmet.

cryotherapy is usually limited to about a 2 minute exposure, so damage is unlikely to extend to deep tissue. Major blistering, for sure, but it's not likely to resemble the prolonged exposures that cause amputations.

But : you are AB. You just got traded & paid. What are you doing (1) putting your body at risk (2) going off the grid (3) threatening retirement over a helmet ?

Someone needs to explain to Michael Silva that if its necessary to number your tweets from 1 to 20, you should choose a different medium.

Dude, threading your tweets by numbering them is so common that there are sites and apps specifically designed for it. Are you for real right now?

Brown by a mile even before this silly talk.

1)He had a vg year but was down on a few important metrics from seasons past.
2)Pitt passed a ton, #1 I believe. Raiders won't be near there although im sure he'll get volume.
3)Maybe the biggest factor, QB. Ben & Brown made a living when the play would break down. They would know where to go, where to look. Totally different QB's & a downgrade anyone you look at it.
4)Just turned 31
5)AWOL acting insane, injuries

Regarding Bell, his style is famous but he'll be the one getting used to his OL not the other way around.

Also it's amazing teams are still handing out big contracts to these RB's. Not joking. Just not a smart investment. Build an OL & you'll never have to worry about the run game again. Can't think of many situations if any where paying them big money works out for the club.

Barry Sanders Bo Jackson Gale Sayers and Saquan Barkley may be the exception.

Love all them but they kicking rocks after the 1st contract.

Seriously though there aren't even a few cases I can think where paying a RB, esp an older one, big money, works out.

By far the easiest position that translates to the league. No shortage of bodies. Esp nowadays where teams are more open minded & creative w their personnel.

I love Barry though. Always been attracted to different & I've never seen anyone like him.

Barry was the most entertaining player to watch
