I really hope that is not the plan, Brown has too much upside. I think that would be a very short sighted mistake.

Brown is a one and done.
People need to accept this reality if the Team max’s out a guy this off season. The plan is likely to max Tatum when Hayward’s contract is over.

you need to check your facts......celts have pre-max control over brown through 20-21 and pre-max control over tatum through 21-22

I'd rather trade Gordon and his contract than give up Brown. If we trade Brown we should be getting more than Steven Adams.

I truly think Jaylen has real upside and if you look closely at his season post-slump he was one of our best players.

Borg is the laugh about Jaylen Brown? My guess is you did not closely watch this train wreck season. Jaylen had a better season than Hayward AND Tatum while spending much of that time coming off the bench. We need something damn good back if we trade him.

houston does not want to take any salary back unless the name jimmy butler is attached to it......I would actually prefer that the sixers keep butler rather than doing a sign and trade and getting Capela and Gordon......that would make them a tough out

Yea I really don't want to trade Brown. It would need to be a kick ass deal for Danny to deal him.

Of course in a perfect world you’re able to move Gordon but that’s not happening until he proves he can come back to the player he was in Utah.

Definitely would include Langford. If we can get Capela somehow without parting with Brown or Smart I'm all in. But I don't know if that's realistic.

Understand Houston is not willing to take any $$ back. If this is a 3 team deal what’s Philly going to want in return for losing Butler and allowing Capela to head to Boston?

Langford actually makes sense for Philly. If brown is unattainable imo he’s the next best get of the haul between the Cs and Houston. Eric Gordon and pj tucker? That might get by next season but over the length of Langford’s rookie deal I’m willing to bet he’s the best player of the 3.

I think I am OK with Kemba Walker....

I think Walker and a mid-level exception big is the best route to take....

It is basically that or an expensive big and Rozier at PG. I like Rozier's D...and think he can handle the PG duties...and his salary would be cheap enough for Adams or Vucjeic....BUT he's a streaky shooter....not sure....I think I'll sleep better with Walker consistently dropping 20....
