Not sure. Either way, if HOU wants Caserio to be team president or paper towel replacer they will need to compensate NE as he is under contract.I don't know if that's all of it - Houston would have to offer Caserio a position that's a clear upgrade over what he currently has instead of a lateral move in order for the Patriots to NOT be able to deny the interview. If it is a lateral move, then yeah, I think Houston compensates, but if not...
I don't mean to be this way but I feel LJ Romanhoff gets on this site to find any and every post I've made and click the Disagree button.
It's kind of laughable at this point.
I might of hit the disagree button twice my entire time on this site and both times I had to go back and forth rather I would do it and think once I even retracted it.
I have to believe maybe this is a guy I picked on in Junior high or something I'm really at a loss now maybe he disagrees with everyone's Post maybe he's a troll.
Hes agreed or liked all of my posts.I don't mean to be this way but I feel LJ Romanhoff gets on this site to find any and every post I've made and click the Disagree button.

Though I can't for the life of me understand why he would want to go to Houston. Crappy city, weather, organization, BOB........ Things must have quickly turned sour in Foxboro.Ultimately if Caserio doesn't want to stay then it's best to let him go but try and extract some compensation for it. No point keeping someone who will be unhappy.
However, if he is open to staying under improved terms I do think we should see if we can't find a way to offer something.
Can we really get a 1 for caserio? I have my doubts because we’ve never seen that type of compensation for a GM only. Obviously HCs have generated first rounders in the past.
If they want Caserio then the price should be the same as what the Patriots has to give the Jets for Belichick.
Hope in one hand, **** in another...If they want Caserio then the price should be the same as what the Patriots has to give the Jets for Belichick.
I didn't even realize it was "that guy." What a jerk.A character coach no less. I swear you can’t make this stuff up.

It's really not fact-free panic though. If Caserio wasn't interested in leaving the Pats would just deny the interview and that would be that. The fact that they filed a tampering charge says Caserio is interested, the Pats are pissed about the underhanded way this came about, or both. This is the most fact-free panic filled thread I've read in a while.
Hope in one hand, **** in another...
Was about to rate this a Winner until the first sentence of the second paragraph. So far as I'm concerned BOB is a bigger D-bag than Mangini. This A-hole has been with the Texans for 5 years and can't develop any coaches or front office personnel, so he goes & steals them from the Pats. I hope he goes 4 & 12 and gets fired. It could very well happen if his scrambling QB takes a bad hit & gets hurt. It would serve him perfectly well.
And Easterby, like most overtly religious people, always struck me as a sanctimonious phony. He has quite a nerve spouting his moral authority while back-stabbing the team he owes his entire career to.
"Easterbunny"... brilliant! Not sure. Either way, if HOU wants Caserio to be team president or paper towel replacer they will need to compensate NE as he is under contract.
My question is....if HOU decides NOT to hire Nick, does NE drop the tampering charge?
I say no. Screw them and Easterbunny
But, but, but...he's A CHARACTER coach and a deeply religious fella...how can this be??? Devious, phony hypocrite.Real nice how this played out. Texans poach one Pats exec. Even though he's now with a rival team, Pats invite him to ring ceremony. Former exec. takes Caserio, a highly coveted Pats front office guy into the corner of the tent and tells him, "Hey, I know what it will take for you to leave the Pats, and the Texans will give you everything you want tomorrow when we fire our GM, but you've got to let me know right now if you're interested." Texans fire GM out of nowhere and immediately try to poach Caserio.
Whether he wants the job or not, I will lose a lot of respect for Caserio if this is how he leaves the team. Such BS tactics. Note to Pats - don't invite former executives who have gone to other teams to the ring ceremony. They might act like douche bags with no principles.
Wasn't it Curtis Martin and draft picks?Wasn’t that a 1st and a mid rounder?
