2) Question on scheduling. Has there always been this many off days for playoff series?
...and that 2013 Blackhawks team was a wrecking machine.1) Game 4 is where it all came apart for Rask & the Bs in 2013, when they had the chance - at home, no less - to go ahead 3-1 in the series. One difference in our favor is that after tonight, 2/3 games will be in Boston, whereas after game 4 in 2013, 2/3 games would've been in Chicago.
2) Until I read Robert Weathers' post, I had ass-umed that these finals have lasted as long as any finals have gone, but obviously that is not the case, yet. NBC will not show a finals game during a weekday in the May sweeps period; thus the late start to this one. Damn shame. Thanks Gary.

The first bruins goal in game2 shouldn’t have counted as there were 6 men on the ice.
I'll never forget "two goals in 17 seconds".It does. For example Bruins beat the Canucks right before Fathers Day in 2011 and in 2013 the Bs lost G6 to the Hawks on 6/24 the day before my kids got out of school as they stayed up late to watch the game
I can't recall a bigger meltdown in the Stanley Cup Finals since I've been watching which was back when the Islanders won 4 Cups.I'll never forget "two goals in 17 seconds".

Wondering if Blues headhunting continues tonight. The powerplay is great and all, but I prefer having healthy players.
Definitely one of the more surreal series of events I have ever witnessed in sports. It was effing surreal. Went from "sweet we're winning, oh wait they tied it.....I mean they just lost" quicker than I could get a beer.
Chara looked like he was skating in cement in the Chicago series. It was apparent that he was no match for the Hawks skilled players. And Crawford outplayed Rask by a hair in the final three games. The difference is the Blues are nowhere near as talented as that Hawks team. And the B's still have home ice advantage with a loss tonight (Knock on wood they don't lose.

Blues get sevetal key players back tonite. Penalty kill will be much better because of this. Im expecting a close 1 goal game. Its a new series if the Blues win.
That was the worst night eva! First of all, June 24th is my mother-in-law's birthday and she had just died in December, so it was her first birthday after her death and I was glad my husband got tickets to the game and took our boys to take his mind off things. But then that terrible loss, and to top it all off, while they were at the game our 6 yr. old dog dropped dead of a heart attack or stroke under the pool table (creepy, because my m-i-l, who lived with us for several months before she died, loved that dog). He was too heavy for me to move, so I had to leave him there until my husband got home :-(It was effing surreal.
