GSW is going to curb stomp the raptors....with or without Durant

The eastern conferences best hope was the Celtics

No the Celtics were only the 4 seed this year. Celtics were NOT good. Dysfunctional offense and defense.

If Toronto can’t pull it off then no one in the East was good enough, including the Celtics.

I sure hope this is sarcasm. The Celtics were a dysfunctional mess and at best the 4th best team in the East.

technically i'd say 5th best team, oladipo got hurt so pacers weren't as good as they really should have been at end

however that doesn't mean the Cs werent the best matchup against GS as compared to toronto, bucks, or pacers (or philly)

I've gotten soft and amiable in my old age and accept your favoritism. However, if you were born in the New England area you should be hanged, drawn and quartered.

I grew up in the Los Angeles area. Still live here.

Never been to LA but you hear the stories both good and bad... Is the homeless situation as bad as the media portrays?
It’s exaggerated. There’s good and bad areas in every city in the U.S.. However, there’s a joke around town that homeless people are making $100k a year standing on the busy corners in the rich areas.

In the movie, “Don’t be a menace in South Central while drinking your juice in the hood” made fun of this as a guy acting as if he were “homeless”, took what he earned that day and drove off in his Mercedes Benz.

I live in the Chicago area and have heard the same thing about homeless acting. I'm sure there are a few. I think it's more about the person not wanting to give a homeless person change.

“A few” is probably a huge understatement. Never give money to a homeless person. Give them food. If they truly are homeless, they’ll appreciate it all the same.

So fked that people can prey on others like that, have some pride you crapbags.

The worst is when I see people doing it with their kids. I see women do it with a baby as seen in the video. I can’t stand either.

Also, I look at how clean they are. If they’re relatively clean, they’re not homeless.

The percentage of scammers is extremely low. You can bet people are homeless when you'r walking the city. Don't give them your change if you have doubts. People will always carry change. Food not so much, and they probably will not be donating to a homeless cause.

I offer the ones I come across working downtown to buy them a meal. The majority don’t take me up on it. The ones that do, I always run to a fast food place and bring them back something. The only time I give them money are the ones that have been up front and have told me that they’re alcoholics and they need a drink. One, because they’re honest and two because going cold turkey without alcohol can kill you from convulsions.

most people don’t have a bag of mcdonalds in their car but they do have money

This will be as boring as the Super Bowl. There's really no excitement or drama behind this series. When it was LeBron, there was excitement knowing it would be a good matchup.

Nobody really cares about the Raptors (except a small minority) and nobody wants to see the Warriors winning another championship.

Me neither but there’s usually one within two minutes. Or a gas station.

There weren't many points scored in the SB, but it was exciting as hell. The game wobbled on the edge nearly the whole way when a single turnover or freak play could have been the difference between winning and losing. I thought it was filled with real drama right to the end.
