Many of the players coming from the south. I’d highly recommend going to either an SEC or Big 10 game. The atmosphere at those games is superior to any professional game. It’s actually not even remotely close.
I've actually been to the Harvard-Yale game (you know, The Game) and it was a lot of fun. Mostly, though, I think, because they seemed to treat it as a kind of lark as well as a game. The Harvard band played Ten Thousand Men of Harvard but they were all wearing berets, dark glasses and other kinds of jazz musician gear. The Yale marching band had a cello!
I don't think any non-American could get their head around a game where everyone is dressed up like the Munchkins' parade and taking it seriously.
