I thought about this for a while, and here's mine, not doing the whole 7 rounds though.

1) 32- TE Noah Fant
2) 56- WR Hakeem Butler
2) 64- TE Jace Sternberger
3) QB Will Grier
3) WR Andy Isabella
3) Best Available DT

That's kinda like my ideal 3 rounds. Fant, Butler and Sternberger really address, size, talent and in some cases speed to help in the red zone. Isabella would add to that as well, and also the return game. Grier is a personal favorite of mine, and can learn A LOT from Brady the next 2-3 years.

What's your ideal draft ?

32 Simmons or Lawrence or Rosen or Lock
56. Mecole Hardman or Hakeem Butler.
64. Isabella
73 Knox
97 Warring
101. Pratt
134 Boykin.

Tier 1: WR2 / TE1 / ED / T / DT

Depth: QB / S / WR (KR/PR) / RB4 / IOL

A.J. BROWN = WR2
DAVID EDWARDS = ST
JOHNATHAN ABRAM = S
JACE STERNBERGER = TE1
ANTHONY NELSON = ED
KHALEN SAUNDERS = DT
BRETT RYPIEN = QB3
DRU SAMIA = IOL
DEVINE OZIGBO = RB4
WR GREG DORTCH WR (KR/PR)
.......
BPA
WR DARIUS SLAYTON
CB MARK FIELDS

With the 5 picks in the top 101, I'd be thrilled to come away with one from each of these groups. Too much to hope for?

WR: A.J. Brown, N'Keal Harry, Hakeem Butler
DE: Zach Allen, Charles Omenihu
TE: Dawson Knox, Jace Sternberger, Kahale Warring
OT: Dalton Risner, Greg Little, Max Scharping
Bonus: QB Will Grier, CB Joejuan Williams, DL Khalen Saunders

Not a fan of Deebo?

Agree with a lot of your list though.

I would like a draft that focuses on WR, TE and OT early as well as trying to find an impact defensive player. If we came away with 4 of the following I would be ecstatic. There are different combinations for how to do that and a couple of spare picks to move up to make sure it happens.

TE: Hockenson (1), Fant (1) Knox (3), Sternberger (3), Oliver (3)
WR: Brown (1), Campbell (2), Ridley (3), Hardman (3), Samuel (2)
OL: Dillard (1), Risner (1/2), Little (1/2), Scharping (3), Lindstrom (2)
Defense: Gardner-Johnson (2), Lawrence (1), Abram (2), Thornhill (2), Love (2), Walker (3), Simmons (character permitting) (1), Jones (2)

Wildcard: Will Grier (3)

Any combination of these below I’d be happy with

RB - Id love us to get another power back type

TE - Fant/Sternberger would be my dream combo but I’d take Sternberger and then another guy later on - Dawson Knox

WR - Jalen Hurd / AJ Brown / Ridley / Renfrow / Isabella

DT/DE - Ferrell/ Zach Allen/ Wilkins/ Lawerence/ Simmons/ Tillery

LB - Pratt / Vosean Joseph

CB - Deandre Baker/ Greedy Williams

S/DB - Taylor Rapp / CSG/ Abram

OK, so far so good! Next up on my shopping list would be either Risner or Allen.

I think Risner will require a trade up into the 33-42 range . Is he that much better than the other two who likely make it to 56 and then maybe you trade up from 64 to ensure Allen as well?

BTW the more I've been watching Saunders the more I might take him at 56 if he lasts that long. I also would like Isabella at 56 or 64. I think if they wait until 73 he's gone.

Yeah, looking back at that list I probably should have grouped Saunders with the DEs. Especially given the run on DTs in round 1, he's one of the more unique players left on the board. And I definitely rate Risner above the other OTs, but maybe not enough to trade up. Isabella I see as part of a bigger value group.

Oh, and QB. I'm glad they didn't bite at 32, but QB has to be in play from this point forward.

I think Lock doesn't make it past Denver in round 2. Then I bet there's a gap until somewhere between the middle and end of round three and then I'm betting on a run. It will be interesting to see if the Pats are in that pack of picks if it plays out that way.

Perfect...and still possible, because every single name on the list - and then some - is available.

Bill got off to a great start last night; I really really hope he can continue tonight. He has 5 chances to find value at 3 positions: TE, DE & LT. The odds should be in his favor.

That’s where I’m at. If he can turn these 5 picks into TE DE OT and another wr he would’ve knocked this draft out of the park. I can even understand using one of those on a QB if the right guys there.

So much for that great start.
