Are you saying lacrosse is not demanding?
It's pretty physical and a ****load of runningNot on the level of say: football, soccer, wrestling, tennis, swimming, basketball, baseball...
Just my opinion though. Sounds like you disagree. Which is cool.
I always thought of lacrosse as the sport people played who weren't any good at the other sports. So they created their own thing to feel special.
Also it's like a school gym class game. Like dodgeball.

I imagine most people who don't consider golf a sport also don't consider NASCAR a sport.

As a youngster I played goal in hockey and lacrosse, safety and RB in football, catcher in baseball and boxed. Outside of boxing I took more of a beating playing lacrosse than I did in the others. Granted goal is a bit more punishing but lacrosse is a far cry from tennis or swimming.
Are we only factoring in violence?
No, not 'only' lol but what's sport without a little risk and a touch of mayhem?
Why does calling golf a sport bother some people? What's the big deal?
"Say what, George?" - Jim Brown"Lacrosse is a fa--ot college activity. "
