Someone pm the other day about Charles Omenihu & I think he's a Sea, NE, Atl, Jax type player that teams will love.

Big & strong like a bull. Played everywhere on that line. 6, 7, 9, 4, everywhere. Can reset from almost all those spots. Huge but plays w vg leverage. Can knife & get skinny through gaps. Bull you over or bend the edge.

I think a lot of his growth comes from watching film & learning there as opposed to some physical.

He's someone that checks a ton of box's. Can play now but has upside. Fills a big need. Prototype build.

Has to get stronger. Needs a quicker counter. Has to recognize whats coming at him faster to beat it.

I think he goes Rd 1.

Isn’t he a one year performer? Those guys tend to have a boom/bust tendency.

Which is why Haskins and Murray are potential time bombs.

Took a decent jump his SR year. Definitely not a one year guy.

I have a decent 2nd on him & think he goes 1. But if its close enough within my grade it wont bother me.

Burns, Bosa, Sweat will be gone top 10-15 so he'll be a hot get once the clock starts ticking.

Omenihu needs a lot of work. He'd be an awful 1st rounder for anyone. I wouldn't take him until the late 3rd round.

The 20's are certainly reasonable. The 20's should be reachable for one of our 3rds. Where in the 3rd depends on which 3rd. Of course, Belichikc often has additional later picks involved in his trades, but the basic trade would be our 32 plus a 3rd for a pick in the 20's.

Well I’m talking about trading up to 21 so still in the twenties.

Late 2nd for me, but I agree he’s not a first rounder.

Tillery, Lawrence, Ferrell, Brown, fant

As an aside, I'm reminded of something BB said a few years ago. The gist is this: if, for the sake of argument, Seattle called him up today and made a good value offer, he'd be comfortable trading up to 21. That said, he noted that most teams aren't willing to do that.

Although I am more of a"Win now" type thinker what if Dwayne Haskins is available at 32?

I would note that OAK has 2 picks in the 20's and is also said to be interested in trading down.

Which of the following would you be willing to trade up with Seattle for (Likely either pick 64 or 73)? You can pick as many as you want.

I chose Seattle because it looks like they’re very keen to trade back to pick up picks (they only have four).

Not sure. On the one hand, he supposedly does Bradyesque things, but he also only has one year of production. Every QB they've spent a high pick (1st to 3rd) on has had at least two.

That's a fairly established trend. Haskins is one of the few players for whom I'd make an exception, even though I don't really want a first-round QB. If they're sold that he's the future, however, then go get him. He's got an awful lot of attractive traits.

So has anyone changed their minds on trade up candidates?

AJ Brown for example? No one mentioned him before but it's looking likely we would have to trade up to snag him. What about Big Dex? What about a QB?

I'm still in the Hockenson, Dillard camp and would look at the mid teens for such a trade. Now I think I would consider Fant, Lawrence and Brown with a smaller trade up to the early 20s if needed.

I wouldn’t give up 73 to go up for Brown, but could countenance one of those compensatory thirds.

That would get us to 25 or 26 most likely. Could be enough if we assume Indy or LAC would snag him at 26 or 28. Get in front of them.

That should be fine. The risk would be the Ravens at 22. But 73 is still in a nice sweet spot for the draft so I’d want to only give it up for the right prospect. AJ Brown is very good but this is a deep WR draft. Is the value of AJ Brown greater than Deebo/McLaurin/Butler plus 73 plus whatever we might get from trading back to acquire The aforementioned receivers (assuming we do trade back). That’s the debate for me.

AJ may not be worth 32 and 73, even if we don't trade back. 32 and 73 should give us two solid additions at WR/TE instead of one.

Conceptually, I suppose that we could consider use the pick acquired in moving down and use it to trade up from 73. giving us 2 picks between 40 and 60.

Kind of fell off the TE train. More than happy picking one up in the 3rd.

To be honest unless someone like Oliver or Sweat drop for some reason I’m happy sticking to 32. I’d also be ok trading the pick to either a team for next years first that projects to sorry, or back into the lower 2nd round of this years draft adding more picks.

There are really only 20 or so guys in this draft with first round grades. But tons of guys with second or third round grades.

If we get the chance to trade back (say to 37) and pick up an extra 4th rounder or something in 2020, then that is a win for us because the quality of player at 37 is the same as 32.

Outside of brown and Metcalf, no wr has a first round grade, but at least 6 have a second round grade. Why overdraft a wr in round one?

I do not have a te with a first round grade, but at least 5 have a second round grade. Why overdraft one at 32?

At least 10 defensive linemen have s first round grade, if one of them falls to us at 32, then we should take him.
