The stars are not aligned here, but the Master of the NFL universe, BB, will in his mastery make the necessary adjustments...
Or robert kraft had a happy ending.

You can't say that!Me give rubbie for ten bucky
Right. We don't know but those two have known each other for a long time and I'm pretty sure BB & Schiano both knew each other's MO.I think he probably did pull an Al Haig, BB sat him down, *****ed him out and he bolted. That's my story and I'm sticking with it (mainly because we'll never know).

Interestingly enough, both sides of the ball seem to be suffering from polar opposite types of turmoil. The offense is keeping it's most important coaching pieces (including Brady, who coaches on the field), but losing it's LT and several weapons. The defense is primarily bringing back the same players (swapping Flowers for Bennett), but is seeing an unprecedented coaching turnover.
Neither of these things are insurmountable (it's only March), but it's interesting to me nonetheless.
I’m 99.9% sure it wouldn’t happen due to philosophical differences, but I would not mind the hire. Rex has never coached a team that had a competent offense. No matter how good your defense is, they will eventually crack if they don’t have a supporting offense. Give him an offense that can score points and he’ll make QB’s make dumb decisions.
Yes he did.Rex has never improved a defense (statistical ranking) as a head coach. Yes, he has moments of creativity and it can be argued that he's a better than average defensive coordinator. But for my money, he does a lot of talking that isn't backed up in the field of play. Taking the Jets from a top-ranked defense to below average? Taking the Bills from one of the top defenses in the NFL to mediocrity? His reputation is overblown.
