Will be an interesting one. His only red flag that i know was from when he was in high school

The Talent isn't the issue with simmons, its the Red Flag from when he was in High school, which is why i don't think he will be a patriot unfortunately

So a four year old incident will take him off our board, yet we traded for Gordon, who is a walking, talking, strung out addict????

I think bb’s coaches need to discuss the incident with Simmons. If Simmons gives the correct response, I think he will have earned a second chance.

Honestly yeah, I think it was around the 95/96 season the pats drafted someone with Domestic violence and when Myra Kraft found out, he was let go almost immediately.


Gordon has only harmed himself no one else which is why they traded for him.

Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to have Simmons here as he’s a great fit for us, but the incident could prove to much. I think the only exception was AH, but I’m not sure if he had Domestic violence incidents or not.

They had rescinded his invite along with a few others, like Ferguson out of la tech, but have changed their minds and those guys all will be there now.

Ah thank you, I knew it was around that time. No idea but it was before training camp even started.
