Not that this is ground breaking news or anything, but per Reiss, Seymour was spotted headed to the weight room today. I know I'm grasping at straws to a degree here, but it's Seymour news-that's not bad news. And at least it means he's working out and re-habbing I presume.

SEYMOUR SIGHTING: Defensive lineman Richard Seymour, who is on the physically unable to perform list due to his knee, continues to work out at Gillette Stadium. He walked through the team's locker room Wednesday, en route to the weight room. Seymour has generally declined comment when approached by reporters.

Our defense is actually going to get stronger and better as the season rolls!
Same for the offense.

I'm pretty sure Seymour was working out at Gillette the other week as well, and he's been without the leg brace for awhile now.

Seymour has been working out regularly. I don;t see the news here.

Here's an update from Pasquarelli (from the pay area) :

"And the sense is that perennial Pro Bowl defensive lineman Richard Seymour could be back by the start of November from the physically unable to perform list . . . Seymour, who suffered some complications from offseason knee surgery, is said by New England sources to be making solid progress in his recovery. It's doubtful he will return right after the six-week moratorium expires, but it might not be much longer after that."

Richard Seymour getting closer to returning certainly is HUGH news.

It's great news.

It's awesome news.

Richard Seymour to our defense is as Tom Brady is to our offense.

Imagine what it would mean having a healthy, strong RS back leading this team on about 11/1.

If you don't think that is news my friend.......I don't know what would be.
