There. I said it.

I'd love to see it happen.

Will it? Probably not. There are all sorts of reasons it likely won't happen.

But I hope it happens. It would be great.

i know i just posted this in the other thread but what the hell.......

i hate all this 16-0 talk but i suppose the hype is only natural

over here, the odds on the patriots to go 19-0 is 14-1.
i know people are dismissing it, but at those odds, are they worth a bet??????

I could care less what their regular season record is as long as they go undefeated in the playoffs.

I don't care how many games the Pats win as long as my fantasy team wins.

To all these people pretending like their too smart to talk about the 16-0 thing, chill out. It's fun, who cares? you're not on the team, your fans, it's your job to fantasize like this. It would be historical if they did and still won the SB so it's not purely a media creation and anyone who says they couldn't care less if they did it is just lying to themselves or trying to sound like they're a member of the PATs coaching staff. I'm gonna continue to talk about because it's entertaining and I don't give a F if it's beneath certain people to talk about it. It's really no more ridiculous than everyone who were talking about an SB win this year, Brady MVP, Moss etc. before the season even started. You're still speculating on what's further down the road for fun, and guess what, your allowed to do that.

I hope they go 19-0

Twice.

I hope it happens too. It would be like magic. Catching lightning in a bottle for one season, if anybody can make it happen, this year's Patriots can. I'd like to see history made. If the Pats went 16-0 would that top the Red Sox winning it all in 2004? Hmmmmm. I'd say as a sports accomplishment, yes it would. But would it finally stake the Pats as the top team in Boston??

THANK YOU.

I wouldn't bet on the Pats going 19-0, but I really like our chances. The fact that there is soo much talk about it in week 5 says something. This is a special team and I'm excited. So naturally we hype, hope, talk ****, etc. I am rooting for 19-0.

What I don't get are the idiots who don't want us to go 16-0. I'm sorry, but if we are 14-0, BB shouldn't rest everyone the last two games. Let our guys start, and if it turns into a blowout, you can rest them in the second half. I'm sorry, but if we have the chance to make history and go down as the greatest team/season ever, you go for it.

19-0. There is no team as good as us this year.

I hope they go 19-0 as well. I hope the players look at winning every game as a challenge and not something to cause the collar to get tight come playoff time.

Regards,
Chris

So Do I.
Who wouldn't want us to be the best ever.
Hell it is even possible to have 15 more blow outs.
I don't count on it...but we can dream...

I have direct tv, and I was so confident that this Patriots team will 19-0 that I ordered NFL sunday ticket, so I could say that I watched every single game of their undefeated season.

I live in NY by the way, thats why I cant watch them all on local tv.

You mean like when the Boston Globe had a poll of the top sports moments in Boston history and the 2001 Patriots came out on top ahead of the 2004 Red Sox? Hmmmmmm.

I want to see Tom Brady play for the Patriots for another 15 years and never lose another game!

I want to see Moss extend his contract for the remainder of his career!

I want to see the Lombardi trophy renamed the Belichick!

I want to hear the fans, players, coaches, commentators, owners and officials of the NFL openly lament that the Patriots just keep getting better and it isn't fair to the rest of the league!

I want the Vegas oddsmakers to either give every opponent 28 points or stop taking bets entirely on Patriots games!

I'm a 22 year fan of this team, it's the only professional sports team I've ever followed and I personally LOVE the talk of an undefeated season! Let the players remain humble and hungry but cherish every minute of this as a fan, what's the harm?

Forget 19-0....I'm hoping they go 38-0. Then we can have debates over which was the better team, this years or next....
