Belichick’s Long Term Plans

While I agree with the sentiment, note the variables: When will TB call it a career (it's soon, no way around that)? Health of either or both men forcing them to step away (BB's nearing 70 and works like 25 hours a day if reports are correct)? Simple ebbing of that ultra critical internal drive to win at all costs and/or simply can't devote the insane hours needed to be next to or at the top?

BB has nothing to prove, TB has nothing to prove. I don't buy into the "he stays to prove". However, BB staying to assist the transition? I buy that as me gut tells me BB will want to stay around football in one capacity or another. Is there anyone that can be named that eats-drinks-thinks-loves football more than BB? It's hard to see him walk away completely to golf and fish or be a gentleman farmer all the live long day....

And his two sons work for the organization. Who'd want to leave the best football job and hang out with your children?

Which recent guys? Recent Miami coaches or recent former Patriots in coaching? O'Brien and Vrabel are doing fine. Patricia is still an incomplete grade.
Miami coaches... should have clarified.

Shhh. We don’t speak of such things in Jax
Meh. I've seen my share of games in which the Pats were embarassed in the playoffs and in Super Bowls. It happens.

JAX has good things going for it. I'm a huge Coach Coughlin fan. Just need a QB

Same plan as always - MORE RINGS

The rings with the gints count. He already proved he can win without brady. Two wins as defense coach

How do you believe Flores will fare? Do you envision him being any more successful than the recent guys?

It depends, Flores has already told the Miami fans it will take a while to turn things around, will they have the patience to wait... considering their fan base probably...

Compare to Matt Patricia and the beating he has taken in Detroit, where they have no patience and the press has been all over him for his methods.. from TC when he made the players run "gassers" the Detroit Press queried if he was "losing" his team. Then there were the outside practices in "bad" weather even though they play in a dome, the Press were on him like flies to crap. Patricia, as does any new head coach, needs time to turn things around and develop a culture of winning, but from the Detroit Press point of view they seem to have little patience for the process...

Then there is the quest for the right players who will buy into either of the two systems..
