If a defensive player won MVP, who would it be?

Gilmore's INT was a game changer, so him...

Another for Gilmore, but certainly tough to. Give it to one guy.......if there was ever a year to have ‘no mcp’ perhaps this was it.

Or Jason McCourty for saving the game........if we go down 7-3 late in the third that game changes completely

Hightower for me. Dude was wrecking the Rams OL

Chung that play on third down when the Rams were driving was huge.
I really think we completely shut them out if Chung stayed on the field.

This was a truly team defensive effort. I think it is difficult to pick just one guy. Hightower certainly made his share of plays, but the other guys contributed to those plays.

Flores?

I voted Hightower, but probably Gilmore. If Hightower had hauled in the interception, then I'd say him for sure. Regardless, the MVP could have gone to almost anyone on defense. So many stellar performances.

Gilmore, not just for the pick and overall performance but he allows us to run our packages trusting him on an island with the other teams 1 or 2. He is the most valuable piece on defense.

Already has 3 huge playoff plays in his short tenure thus far. Broke up the jags 4th down pass attempt. Tipped a foles pass to harmon for a pick when philly was driving to extend their lead, the ONLY play made by our d in that game. And the pick yesterday.

The entire defense. Really can't pick just one.

Part of the reason no D player won MVP, IMHO, was they all played lights out which made it too hard to choose one.

Hightower and Noy were a force upfront. The entire backfield was great. I find myself in shock at how much of a stud Noy has become this year compared to when we first got him.
