We should definitely kick the tires

Wes has gotten his "feet" wet as he has been a loyal "foot" soldier in Houston as a player he is familiar with "defeet" when he played for Miami, so perhaps he could put his best "foot" forward by trudging along the coaching "footpath"...

Jeez those comments suck, maybe I should erase or maybe lay the groundwork for better efforts..
Rex isn’t the hiring manager. But Welker should toe the line anyway.

Not a good idea. His wife is likely to start another cat fight with Brady’s wife. I’m sure she hasn’t forgotten nor forgiven “My husband cannot f–king throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time.” Especially when she was already jealous of Giselle’s SI exposure overshadowing her own Ms Hooters stature.

Mrs Brady was maybe also referring to Branch's 3rd-down drop immediately after The Receiver's non-catch. That too would've been good for a first down.

I'm not so sure, in Edelman's book Wes was not a very helpful teammate. I fully expect Jules to try to stay with the Pats for another couple of years so it could be awkward.

I just checked out a couple articles online that summarize the book and you're right. I think there's reports that Welker treated Hernandez that way too (which iirc resulted in a death threat).

Basically, for those who don't want to look this stuff up, Welker got annoyed when rookies asked him questions. So why the **** is he going into coaching?
