If only we had him for Super Bowl 42 and the Tyree play......

Playoff ref stats are always dumb since it’s an All Star crew around them so it doesn’t matter what he did in the regular season with his own crew.

I don’t remember having a problem with the overall officiating in sb46 so thats somewhat good. It was just mostly the same ole fluky giants bs. All 4 or whatever fumbles bouncing their way and Welker. Long as its not an 05 divisional game @ denver or 06 afcc @ indy type one sided inconsistent garbage ill take it.

How many of the back and sideline judges live in Los Angeles?

What about the last play where the Giants secondary was clearly interfering with Gronk's ability to catch?

Id have to look again and being that it was a hail mary, itd have to be pretty blatant for me to really complain.

He was responsible for the intentional grounding call when Brady was being hit by Tuck as he threw. And there was a wr who was waving for the ball, but ball ended up behind him in open space as he ran/cut toward sideline instead of going upfield like I think Tb thought he would. To me that isn't intentional as you have two mitigating factors (defensive player and miscommunication ). Certainly not enough to make a call that gives points on the biggest stage.

But everybody expected pats would roll and I think refs wanted to keep it close for the ratings so they gave the safety.

Two points early on should be overcomeable, but it set a tone.

I don't feel like searching for the video and dealing with the fact we lost that game and reading the comments about "cheaters never win" and such.

If you want to, search up Super Bowl 46 last play or something of equivalent.

Ended up getting them 9 points

I couldn’t rewatch 42 or 46 until the sb win over Seattle. That said i dont feel like looking again right now lol

They did call the questionable grounding in the end zone on the first play which gave the Giants 2 points and the ball back IIRC....

The best teams must be able to overcome a few bad calls. That is why I think the Saints complaining is ridiculous. In spite of the no call on PI, Saints still had the opportunity to stop the Rams on next posession AND they got the ball first in overtime AND they had homefield advantage.

Good. We won 9 games while he was the referee. Call me an optimist
