I swear bill better not bench Gilmore lol. Not saying that’ll happen

If Brady faces that 2015 Wade Phillips Broncos defense at home he does much better.

This is not correct. It is true Brady struggled against Phillips’ 2015 Broncos defense, but that was a historical one. He’s had success against Phillips a number of other times.
Wade likes to use a lot of bigger pass rushers. He had Von Miller who is a beast in Denver and he also had jj watt in Houston. Now he has suh, brockers and Donald. If the ball comes out in 3.5 seconds and the pass rush gets there in 3, it doesn’t really matter.

Do you even remember who was playing on our oline in the 2015 AFCCG?

2015 Broncos defense had a good pass rush and a good secondary. I don't think this Rams defense is anywhere near as good. Also, our pass protection this year has been excellent. That being said, I would certainly have preferred a team with a weaker defensive line.

So I was wrong to criticize the Rams for not practicing until Thursdsay...

Wait Brandon Daly media availability. Interesting. Thoughts? BB giving someone else the media exposure since Flores already has a job or just why make Flores available if you don't have too he has plenty to do as our coach and his next gig.

I’m guessing Flores is wrapping things up with Miami today. That’s probably why he’s not available and Daly is filling in. I do think Daly is a top candidate to replace Flores after this season.

2015 Broncos defense had awesome linebackers and two all pro corners.

All I’m hearing today from the media is that Brady has struggled against Wade Phillips before and the same thing is going to happen again.

I guess the media needs something to talk about but this whole Wade Phillips narrative makes almost no sense to me. He has two Ws against NE, with an historic 2015 Broncos defense, that was at home both times and playing against the most injury depleted Pats team I’ve ever seen with a matador offensive line, and they still barely won! We smoked his Texans and Cowboys defenses. It’s about Personnel!!! BB is the best there is, best there was and best there ever will be (Bret Hart voice). Last year heard the same thing about Tom Coughlin before the AFC Championship, that he had some magic elixir to stop Brady and the Pats smh. It’s always about preparation and execution, and we do that better than anyone! The Pats aren’t unbeatable, but they prepare and execute more consistently and with a much higher frequency than anyone. I like our chances against LA!

A little Liberty Valance effect.

Yep. Sebastian vollmer and shaq mason as a rookie. I think stork was still in too

It was a disaster. You had Kline, Stork and a rookie Mason in the interior, trying to block Von Miller and Demarcus Ware.

It is true that the rams got pressure on brees. Either the saints offensive line sucks or their front 7 is good.

I think the Rams have a very good D-line and NE will have to block well, certainly not disputing that. I’m just tired of the whole “Wade Phillips defensive genius” title being thrown around. I like our offense against any defense in the league. Chargers and Chiefs have lethal pass rushes too, they didn’t barely get a sniff at Brady. We should be confident in our O-Line. Nice thing about the Super Bowl being two weeks after the conference championship is the extra preparation time. BB and co. are excellent at that

Zero sacks in the postseason

Were it not for some extremely dubious calls by the officials that favored the Broncos, the Pats would have won that 2015 game

One more thing about that pats chiefs game. Tom Brady converts 3rd down passes into 1rst downs 38% of the time during the season. The fact that he was 3 for 3 converting on 3rd and long in OT is insane. We're very fortunate to have won that game.
