Pre Super Bowl Thread- On to the Rams

On cloud 9 today. What a crazy game. I'm on disbelief that the Pats are back in the Super Bowl yet again. 11 appearances in my lifetime. Wow

How does the Rams offense matchup against the Pats D?

This is going to sound like a cop out, but it's really not, because it's probably the key to the game on that side of the ball:

Tell me how well the Patriots defensive tackles are going to hold up, and I'll tell you how well the Patriots match up.

I hope he brings the classics. Moves like "**** first into facemask" or "drop the WR screen at the LOS".
Not to mention his patented "quick feet concussion" move

On NFL Live- they reported that reid was upset the offside call was made and usually refs warn the coaches during the game if it happens.

Rather than using three safeties like they usually do, the Patriots spent most of yesterday's game with four CBs on the field (Gilmore, Jackson, Jones/Crossen, JMcCourty). Third safety Duron Harmon played just two snaps after averaging 43 per game during the regular season.

Did they report on whether or not Reid was also upset that Eric Berry was allowed to ride Gronk like a horse on some passing plays, or that the Chiefs were allowed to set picks 4 yards downfield?

So no additional injuries I take it? I personally did not see any.

Other than the white / michel speculation, which I believe rex being is n had nothing to do with injuries.

4 in 5 years..my god...enjoy this folks...it won't ever be done again..ever

Media alert:

BB scheduled to be on WEEI at 3pm today

More credit needs to go to Flores and the creativity he's brought to our pass rush. It's been a long time since we've consistently brought this type of pressure against offenses. Not since Mangini was the defensive caller and of course when Crennel was here.

What's even more impressive is that our front 7 is the least talented in a long time and yet he's masked all that with his scheme and playcalling.

His playcalling has been on par with McDaniels.

It's a shame we're gonna lose him only after one season.

That's my take.

I’d prefer the Saints pass rush then. We never get beat by pressure off the edge unless it’s Von Miller. It’s always up the middle.

Really pissed at the league for ducking the Saints. I wanted them because we matchup better even with Brees being a hall of famer.

I still can't believe we won that game. This team man........On to that 6th ring. LET'S GO!!!

According to Brady, the Patriots put in eight new plays during Sunday morning’s walkthrough at the hotel. They ran four or five of them during the game.

With 94 offensive plays, they needed them.

They did that with SB36.. They were lining up and walking through them in the ball room of their hotel..

Agree. LA has better CBs too
