Tony Romo's AFCCG color commentary

I doubt any team will be able to pry him away from CBS. That would require stupid money.

I turned the volume down several times. It's too much... Nance.. " so is this where mahomes is going to be Brady..? " Patriots hadn't scored yet...

Pllleeeassse just shut your yaps so we can enjoy the football game ....
It's on, but I never listen to the TV anymore, just Socci and Zolak in the background.

He is the best...good for Cbs...he has been lovely to hear all season...chapeau...

I didn’t really want to like him but I do. He gets excited and not in a forced over the top way like Tessitore. He offers interesting perspectives and good insight into the thinking a QB goes through on a play.

Romo is a goddamn legend.

He told Nance a few times during the game that he was getting ahead of himself.

My only complaint from last night's game was his commentary on the Edelman non-muff. At first he's saying "it didn't touch him!", and going through the replays he essentially proved his position (that part where he was saying "look at the right thumb" and the next angle showed it didn't touch the right thumb).

But then after the call comes down, he starts saying he doesn't know for sure whether it touched or not, giving ammo for controversy regarding the call.

He is just awesome. My favorite thing about his announcing is his enthusiasm. He has an obvious passion for the game and is watching as a fan.

That was the best game I’ve ever heard anyone call last night. I sincerely hope he doesn’t go into coaching because he would be a massive loss. Easily the best in the game.

Romo still needs to stop talking a couple of seconds before the next snap. It annoys the piss outta me to hear him - or anyone else - continue to babble while the next play is happening. Andy Brickley does the same shyte during Bruins broadcasts.

He was kind of wishy washy there when it was clear Edelman never touched it, regardless of what Felger and the two douchebags say.

I kind of remember this. What was Nance spewing from his pie hole?

My favorite part was him not being afraid to talk about how the refs were unfairly calling the game in the chiefs favor, and how it was so noticeable. “ Kansas City sure is getting away with a lot of the same thing New England is being called for tonight” that was my favorite. I remember at least 3 occasions where he wasn’t afraid to speak the truth. The NFL can’t like that.

Am I dumb or there was a grassy knoll reference? Can anyone provide the link?
