Insomnia

I think this Patriots team right now is the best team the Chiefs will play all season to date and that includes the week 6 Patriots.

I think the Patriots routed the best team they’ve played all season last weekend.

We’ll see how good the Chiefs really are today. Based what what I’ve heard and read from Pats practice I’m optimistic we will give them a game even at Arrowhead and maybe a lot more than that.
As yourself this....

Are the Patriots better now or in Week 6- IMO, the D is better without a doubt. Since the KS game we are allowing 18.6ppg. I think the offense might be a smidge not as good but might be the same (no Josh but it wasn't like we lost Randy Moss. I think Gronk has more wear and tear but I think Sony is better)

Are the Chiefs better or worse since Week 6?- IMO I think their D has improved as since they played us they've allowed 24ppg. Offensively, since they played us they are averaging 35 a game but 32 since they lost Hunt. So, offensively they are not as good.

I can’t stop laughing about this. I want to build a wall around Florida and make Cuba pay for
It. Ok just
Kidding but if you could wall off the Ohio valley on south and make Florida pay... ahh **** it

I slept well, considering the wind is howling. I didn't even think about it until the morning news stopped with thier non stop coverage of the storm (yawn) to remind me "Hey, Steve-o, there's a game today!"

We are good. Pour yourself am Irish coffee and enjoy the storm until the NFC game.

LFG!!

Thanks guys.

I will sleep eventually. I just hate that much alcohol because then I’m like oh god when I read later

This feeling never goes away.!

that's true...
today i'm trying to relax a little bit as this evening NO-LAR and in the night KC-NE

I really do not know if i will be able to sleep maximum 3 hours thius night-early morning...

AT VERY LEAST I HOPE TO SLEEP HAPPY THAT COUPLE OF HOURS

GO PATS

Mahomes is 3-0 in games under 32 degrees Fahrenheit, but his QBR is just 85.3 in those games. The temp will be 20 at game time (5:20 pm CST) and dropping as the game proceeds into the teens. This will be his first real ice game.

yea his coldest was his first start in DEN last year and it was 17. He did ok.

Whats it gonna be? Mid 20s?

I too suffer from insomnia and have a home remedy that is guaranteed to work!

1 cup of hot sleepytime tea
1 tbsp honey
5 milligrams melatonin
11 ounces Glendronach 18 whiskey
2 ambien tablets crushed

Combine, stir thoroughly, and enjoy.

To minimize the risk of death avoid sleeping on your back.

I usually suffer from several nervous system conditions, almost exclusively caused by living too close to Ohio. (Min safe distance is 750 miles)

I can’t sleep guys. This has been an epic ride the last decade or two. At this time of year, I feel like everything is out of control. Here we are in the final 4 once again. Funny thing is, I won’t be able to sleep much later either

Andy Johnson, would you put out a calm down thread with stats and reasons why there’s no worry? Your good at stuff like that
They either win or lose at not much else changes...

Just sleep.

I love you all... yes even the PatriotsPimp whereever the **** he may be right now..

LETS ****ING GO.. lets make it 3 SBs in a row.. I mean come on ? how ****ing privileged are we ?

Just like the Phoenix, NumeroPimp187 will rise!!!

Jokes aside, I think he's on here with another account.

I am really nervous. This is normal feeling for me before any playoff game !
I wish our game was first, not sure if I can really enjoy the NFC game as I will be thinking about the later game the whole morning.
However, I am wearing the exact same thing that I wore during the Jets and Chargers game, both blow outs so hopefully it is the same today.
Go Pats.....woohoo !!

Agreed. I think the Pats offense is a bit different this time and I don’t think that’s a bad thing at all. If the Chiefs can’t stop White and Michel they will be upset today. I loved LGB but the Pats didn’t have a legit run game back then. It was tactical and easily shut down in the playoffs. It’s legit now.

Chiefs defense has improved at first sight a lot over the last two weeks but I’m not sure the Raiders and Colts are great measuring sticks to see how good they are. Perhaps they are legit, we’ll see.

As with most things it's a matter of perspective...

Sleep that knits up the ravelled sleeve of care
The death of each day's life, sore labour's bath
Balm of hurt minds, great nature's second course,
Chief nourisher in life's feast.
~Wm. Shakespeare~

I hate the later start times too, just play the damn games at 1 and 4:30 ffs

At 10:00 pm tonite I will be in full hype mode... either over a loss or a win. Mental loops of re-plays, what-ifs, penalties, turn-overs on the one hand or exciting heroic plays, performances, and players on the other.

Mix that in with 12-16 below zero temps and 18" of snow, and getting the car started in the morning and I expect INSOMNIA on top of INSOMNIA. Maybe a few pre-dawn cat naps if the melatonin winds me down a few notches.

Usually, I am nervous and hyped before these games, but not today. For whatever reason, I slept soundly and though I await the game, it's not the same feeling as in AFCCG games in the past.

I have a sense of confidence, a calm belief that New England is gonna win, and convincingly. I'm looking forward to the game.

GO PATS!
