I can see Dallas trading for him if he’s not released...
THey already traded their first round pick in 2019 for Amari Cooper. I am not sure what they can offer Steelers for him.

I’d do a one year contract if he were a free agent, comparable to Revis. I wouldn’t want to commit to him long term, wouldn’t want to trade a draft pick for a one year rental, and can’t see the Steelers trading him to the Pats anyway.

No. But, he's buddies with James Harrison. And, Harrison has praised BB
since making his cameo with us last year. Talked about the difference in
coaching between pitt and us being quite large.

I like AB and all but his contract is way too much $$

I doubt just a coaching change would convince AB to come here and play for less money.

How many here would realistically complain if AB joined the Patriots? He's clearly one of the top 3 or 5 receivers in the league and can run all the routes. You can dislike his attitude or salary, but of course we'd want his talent. I don't see his attitude as any worse than Moss, and he had a few good years here before he got shipped off.

I may not be a fan of AB the person, but on the field he'd be a clear difference maker.

I 100% agree with you from a talent and need perspective. I am just not sure BB and front office think he's worth the money and headache.

Its comments like these that want me to change my opinion on AB. I do believe environment, culture, accountability and authority curbs behavior.

AB doesn't have that in Pitt (maybe not his entire life) which is why he acts the way he does.

He would certainly get that here.

With that said no way in hell Pitt trades him to us. .0000000000000000% chance

Well of course we'd want his talent but you don't get just his talent. I think with Brady nearing the end of his career I could take a year MAYBE two of Brown but once Brady starts to decline I don't want him anywhere near the team with his selfish personality or being toxic around a developmental QB

In a league full of head-case, me-first WRs, he seems to be the most head-casiest, me-firstiest, so I would say no. Without getting into all of it again, Malcolm Butler was benched for the SB and various other players have been benched, at least for portions of games, supposedly just for being late to practice, or "not invested" enough. This guy flat-out didn't show, because he wasn't voted prom king. How would that help the Patriots? You know BB is going to cut the guy, never mind bench him, if he doesn't show up for practice.

His Cap Hit is reasonable for a player of his quality...

Would i want him here? Yes

Do i think he will end up here?

Highly Doubtful

I haven't heard about Adam Thielen being on the outs but that's who I would like. 2018 didn't end well for him, his production was down and he and Cousins weren't seeming to get along at the end. Just over $9M for two years (virtually free), I have no idea if Minnesota may move him but he's the guy I would want. (and Bill would get over their little spat).

So a change in environment curbs behavior? Are you thinking the usual $1 bet Mortimer?

Sure, I'd take him. But it's not going to happen for multiple reasons.

I'd take him in a heartbeat. Any player that yells at BB during a game you want. Cant teach fire in the belly
