Not sure how the money would fair but with a need for talent at the position I'd look at trying to acquire Beckham or Brown in the offseason. They'd be better than anyone on the free agent market despite their obvious warts and this team has trouble drafting wide receivers.

If I had to pick I'd take Brown because despite the diva personality he gives it all on the field. Seeing Beckham not even attempt to dive for an onside kick ala Cam Newton in the SB soured me on him.

Id be interested in brown too in all honesty, the potential with him and brady even at 42 is too tempting and wr who can separate is a need for us. Obvious character concerns but the #s dont lie as far as his body of work goes as recently as this year even with all the issues. If anyone can keep him grounded its bb and the pats.

That all said, i dont see any way Pittsburgh would trade him here

I hope that somehow it can be arranged for Gints to have OBJ and Brown together. It would be so entertaining and the Maras deserve all the drama they can be wrapped up in.

20 million a year is too much money for a guy who can't play 16 games a year without melting down.

No Brown.

Guy is a cancer. A 5th round pick developed by the Steelers. He should be kissing their feet that Pitt devoted resources to his betterment.

Steelers made him a rich man and look what he does. Says his NEW contract had19 mil guaranteed and Pitt has already paid 7.6 mil of that.

Browns cap hit is 22 mil next season if he stays in Pittsburgh. 12.6 mil just in salary for that axxhole.

The Steelers wouldn't trade him to the Pats but the problem is teams with the most cap space in 2019 are all AFC teams too.

Colts
Jets
Bills
Browns
Raiders
Texans

Good chance if you trade him to the Colts, Browns or Texans to he could still hurt you.

Agreed. 100%. He's the poster child of Diva WRs that Belichick never drafts. No way he's coming here. Can you imagine his live feed snap chat or IG from the locker room happening here? No way that's gonna fly here. Fussing that the WR2 is getting more respect? Shut up, it's a team sport, you dope.

Ironically, the dead money is almost the same as his cap hit for 2019, so trading (or cutting) him, strictly speaking, wouldn't change their cap situation very much for 2019.

Also, they can treat him as a post-June 1 transaction, which would allow them to spread out the dead money.

Would you want Antonio Brown?

At his price, it’s something like 21 million per.

I don’t want him at any price and wouldn’t trade more than a fifth round pick for him. Then he’s off to cleveland.

AB posted in his Instagram (it was in his stories, so that means it was up for 24h then it died) a chat between him and TB12

If I were a Steelers fan I'd be piiiiiiiiissed

But there is also no chance in frozen hell they'd trade him to us, so it was really just to put some salt in the wound i figure

HECK NO.
Three things
1) BB would never get a guy like that here. As good a player as he is, he's got issues.
2) It's a big cap hit for PIT to keep or trade him and NE certainly don't want any part of it.
3) Ray Lewis killed a guy

Pipe dream Pitt wouldn't be stupid enough to cut him?? Or would they Hmmmm?? Then I would be all over him.

Don’t see it happening. Makes similar money to cooks, who we shipped out and is 5 years younger. I do think AB is an awesome wr and would do well here, just wish he was cheaper.

I can see Dallas trading for him if he’s not released...

I'd prefer trading for a younger player like Allen Robinson or nabbing Demaryius Thomas in FA.
