The front-7 has been bad for multiple seasons, but it's been covered up by competent DT and an extremely talented and athletic secondary.

The competent DT no longer exists and the talented and athletic secondary is a year too old and has lost much of that athleticism and talent. D. McCourty and Chung are perfect examples.

A long game, but that was uninspiring.

I think the secondary is fine, but every secondary will look like bad if the QB can stand freely in the pocket running a spread offense. All goes back to the front 7 imo
