Who gets cut when Rodney Harrison returns?

Who will get cut when Rodney Harrison returns to the lineup next week.

Rodney's suspension ends after this week, odds are he will be back praticing with the team on Wednesday. Who gets cut?

I say Chad Brown. I know we don't have much depth at LB but hasn't he already been cut once? Anyway, what are the chances that he won't be around to re-sign if the Pats need him.

This is pretty likely and pretty logical. I voted for Chad Brown, but I think you may be right. I'm not a huge fan of Chad, but with all these old LBs, it's good to have a lot of bodies around, and a lot of experience.

If ProFootballTalk.com is to be believed, it may be Randy Moss... he just narrowly avoided getting cut in the pre-season apparently and therefore is likely still on the bubble.

I think Mays is the least valuable on the roster. After all, he could be on the Practice Squad, and could be activated if needed.

Even though I believe Mays provides value on special teams he must not be developing at the linebackers position as fast as the pats would like. It was pretty telling when they signed Brown and he was active while Mays was a health scratch. Mays could be signed back to the practice squad assuming no one else claims him. While it is hard to speculate when Seymour returns as injuries have a way of working these situations out I think Kareem Brown could be in jeopardy. Wright should be coming back soon and would be on the game day roster. Thomas and Smith are all ready ahead of Brown and are also both young....Maybe he is just taking longer to pick up the defense or adjust to the competition but he is pretty far down the depth chart right now....

I also think they do not need to cut anyone next week for Rodney as he is already on the Roster. Guys on the PUP will require cuts in a few weeks, if there are no injuries. Can someone confirm?

Rodney is on a reserve list of some sort. He is not counted on the 53 as of right now.

I dont see S.Thomas getting cut when Seymour comes back. Right now he is ahead of L.Smith and K.Brown so I dont think it would sense for him to go before someone else (Baker?) or Brown or Smith. The first games Thomas had been rotating in, playing meaningful downs so I dont see him getting cut.

I think Chad Brown was cut in the final cut before week one. Correct me if I'm wrong.

An option I almost forgot is the good old 'mysterious injury' that places someone on the IR. I don't this will be an issue when Harrison returns but when the PUP folks get ready to come back expect a few 'leg' injuries.

Specifically Chad Jackson, Mays, Baker, Kareem Brown, S. Thomas are all candidates.
