I've met Jordan (and his fiance). Seem like really decent people - not kidding. Very pleasant to talk with, well-regarded by the people who lived around them.

And that might be the case, and I'm not saying it isn't. But that could just be their public persona. Without reading someones mind or catching them in the act, you'll never really know, so it's really hard to know what's true.

All this suggests to me is that Jordan Rodgers is an attention whoring dipshit. Some may not agree, but there are plenty of more-than-valid reasons to cut toxic family out of your life, and seeing Jordan Rodgers mooch off his brothers fame then publicly resent him for it and air out his dirty laundry over and over again is a pretty strong indicator to me that Aaron probably made the right call by cutting all of these people out. Not like this is a first for Jordan, I only know who he is because similar threads have been posted here before featuring him talking about how much it sucked growing up in his brother's shadow and how much he resents him.

I guess the better response is that none of any of this is my business and therefore I really shouldn't have an opinion at all, but if I have an opinion it's pretty firmly pro-Aaron I guess. Sometimes your family just sucks and you gotta do what you gotta do to stay sane.

If someone was fleeing for their life from a wildfire that seems like a horrible time to call them.

I assume Aaron Rodgers knows where his mom lives, and there are probably websites that track the fire. So it would be pretty easy to tell if his mom was in real current danger.

And in any case it seems like a pretty petty reason to throw a fit on twitter. If that is how Jordan, and perhaps the rest of his family, acts, it is little wonder Aaron has limited contact with them.

Yes, there was a story at that time that he didn't talk to his grandfather. The article I read suggested Munn was behind this. Though, don't really care about athletes off the field.
