How did you feel about the uniform change from 1999-2000? And which did you prefer?

Since Pat Patriot was banished (boooooo), the current uniform is the best. The pre-2000 ones are horrible.

However, the color rush top with white or silver pants would easily beat the current uniform.

The best are still the 1963 road whites.

I’m a huge sucker for the 90’s unis. My earliest Patriots football memories were when they were donning them.

I feel like age makes the difference with how fans feel about the 90’s uniforms.

Those who grew up becoming fans during the 90’s or later seem to absolutely love them.

Those who grew up with Pat Patriot, however, seem to absolutely despise them.

I prefer the ones we have now but always thought they looked cool.

I think they should bring them back as a throwback since the Pat Patriot’s are still not allowed.

It could be done to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Krafts purchasing the team or something like that.

I too love the 90s uniform. Bertrand is on a mission to make them do this but his research reveals very unlikely until they stop the color rush. Old school 90s don't fit the color rush scheme and you can't wear multiple alternative uni's.

I'd love to see Brady wear them once.

Ooh! The one with Tom Brady in it!

The 90s uniforms were trash. I think that applies to most 90s uniforms, though. It's mildly surprising there wasn't an NFL team that used Comic Sans for its jersey font back then.

I love the current uniforms. I couldn't stand the really old ones. I just don't like red I guess.

Feel the 90s unis got better when they changed the numbers style to that slanted angle, but still prefer the ones we have now.

Slanted numbers made them even worse. Agree that current ones are better than any post-Pat uniform,

Good question. I always thought their 90’s uniforms were unique. I liked the checkered pattern on their jerseys and the logo on the shoulder pads. Although the logo on the shoulder pads are little too much now, I wouldn’t mind creating a modified version of those.

When they changed their uniforms in 2000, they initially looked awful because the colors didn’t show up on standard definition TV’s (many people didn’t have HDTV’s then). In fact, their home jerseys looked black, especially if there was any moisture on them. I’m not a fan of the gray stripes on the shoulder pads. I think they are due for a tweak in the uniforms. I still think they are too dark for a “Patriot” theme. I’d like to see them wear grey pants with their away jerseys once in a while on the road as an alteranate like they wore in the 90’s.
