Is Brady having some subpar games? Or is he physically declining.

That’s what I find so disturbing. Not that they lost to the Titans, any given Sunday and all... It was the manner in which we lost (ie; got blown out)

I can’t remember the last time I saw such a listless Patriots team. They looked like they didn’t want to be there and got manhandled all game long in all 3 phases

It’s not often that this team gets bullied around like that for 60 minutes

Not often do you see the Patriots totally quit in the middle of the fourth quarter. I know the math didn't work out at the point, but the Super Bowl LI squad would've blushed seeing that.

he has had subpar games...limited protection...limited weapons. He is in fantastic shape and can still throw the ball.

Plus the entire rest of the league, the entire media and the fan bases of 31 other teams are waiting for his decline like hot, horny vultures. People have been wanting the decline narrative to be true for like 10 years.
I think you meant “Hungry vultures”. Vultures are a metaphor for hunger, not horniness!

Brady is fifth in stats according to NFL.com ahead of Rodgers and Brees, for two. #1 Mahomes could have easily thrown 5-6 ints in our game this year, that will catch up to him. This, in a year where there was no Edelman or Amendola to start and we still don't have a solid rotation at WR.

Everybody stunk in that game, it happens. Vrabes had a great game plan. Could everybody give it a rest?

That's an interesting column. Wonder how/why Brady has developed those bad habits.

Happens to all athletes (think pitchers). Reasons probably complex. My simplification: People are not machines.

Brady missing badly like he did vs Ten has little to do with age and more likely a lot to do with mechanics or receivers not being on the same page.

There really is no comparison to Manning. Manning was clearly done. Brady has not lost his arm strength. Yet.

Reminded me a lot of the Saints game in 09 actually.

It's something that has snowballed- two of the biggest factors contributing to it are: a very inconsistent offense and shoddy O-line work. The clock in his head has shortened unnaturally.

Lazar notes that they fall apart in instances where he has to move out of the pocket. Some work with House and Mason getting back should fix that.

When they drafted Jimmy, it lit a fire under him. Now that he has crappy Hoyer behind him, there's no pressure to perform. Clear sailing!

Unless i start seeing those performance at home, i won't make any crazy conclusion.

You mean, unless you start seeing that kind of performance with stellar O-line work and a functional offense, you won't make any crazy conclusions. ;)

It's a team game. Has he had a solid WR and TE rotation all year? Even so they're 6-1 in last seven. 6-1. Where are the subpar "games" plural?

How many QBs outscored the Chiefs this year despite stopping them very little? Zero? Is the whole league washed up? every QB?

People think something is wrong with TFB because he isn't throwing 3 TD's a game. The Pats seem to be trying to establish their run game especially with the limited options for receivers. TB is not a stats whore. He is someone that just wants to win no matter who scores the pints.

So you're basically saying Brady doesn't give a f**k.
Even for you, that's pretty whack.

You can decline and not fall off a cliff. You can decline and still be good. I don't know what is going on with brady and I'm not gonna pretend to know for sure but he hasn't been the same brady I'm use to seeing for the better part of this year. To flat out say he definitely isn't declining seems a bit premature though. The man is 41.
