Post Game Thread: Titans beat the Pats

None of this has anything to do with this season and would be approached the same way if we dont make the playoffs or manage to win a title.

So whats your point again?

Of course nothing can be done right now but bad bookkeeping hamstrung the team at the trade deadline this year. Also like the last handful of drafts haven't been very fruitful for a number of reasons.

McCourty the safety at 13 million, Hightower at 6+ million, Brown, and Shelton. Forum posters will go crazy but Allen also has to go. Without Gronk he doesn't even offer a threat in the passing game to defend. I don't care how well he blocks.
Go look at their deals closer. All their deals can be reduced or eliminated with little cap ramifications. By definition, those are not bad deals

All 3 losses have not been competitive...when's the last time that happened....usually they're good for 1 wtf loss a season, but 3 for 3 this year is very telling...

They have the look of a team that gets curbstomped in the playoffs

On another note Brady's play has me worried that the moment hater's have been waiting years for has finally arrived. I hope it's just a slump and he bounces back when the offense is healthier. Can't read a lot into day but it's been less than idea for 3 straight games.

I was afraid the Patriots might run into a buzzsaw today, with Gronk out and the OL undermanned vs. Vrabel/Pees running the defense. I'm concerned about Edelman.

They always have trouble in Miami, the Jets will be Up for Bowles Last Stand (1 or 2), Pitt and Minn aren't gimmies. 2-4 is a real possibility
9-7 means the biggest end of year collapse in the BB era.

Possible, but highly unlikely

What bad book keeping?

Bad game all around...our offense was bad, our defense was bad and our special teams play was bad. We deserved to lose the game. A week off, hope we can get healthy and back on track.

Lets discuss
Hideous game.....exploited what it looks like when EVERY component of the Patriots team doesn’t show up to play football.....#shameful

Interesting watching the post-game show on NBC Boston. With Ninko, Breer, Troy Brown and Holley there is a definite sense that these guys liked this result. Strange, not Breer, but from the others.

The offense has always been about getting into a rhythm and this year they've really only done it in 2 games - Colts and Chiefs. Being down 2 starting lineman plus Gronk really hurt today. Pats are not as deep as prior years and really need everything to click to be successful. Bye comes at a great time - we'll see if what they can put together is enough to make a serious run.

Thoughts? I actually requested the entire keg from my server on several occasions today. That’s all I got for this one..

Brady was not awesome however he is surrounded by uncertainty at the moment

Didn’t bother to show up. I put that on coaches more than anyone, nobody but Edelman was worth a s*** today. That only happens with poor preparation and focus in general. Can all but kiss the 1 seed goodbye.

If theres any way to put a positive spin on things, We are pretty fortunate to be 7-3 now considering none of the 3 losses were very competitive. That means pretty much every game that was in doubt so far has gone our way. We really need to be more consistent going forth and we really need gronk to be gronk if we are going to play for a title.

They're professionals, not fans, at least when they're on TV. I very much doubt any of them are happy.
