Let’s see the Chiefs win a playoff game before we put them in the Super Bowl. They lost to a trash Titans team last year with a coach that got fired despite winning a playoff game.

Nonsense! Mahomies is a HoF, Andy Reid is a genius, let's give them Lombardi right now. All this playing is just a formality. Now bow down to their awesomeness.

I think this KC love-fest is getting a little out of hand. I get the league is excited about a new hotshot player in Mahomes, but these team theatrical endzone celebrations when they’re up 4 scores show a ton of class. How about the fact they haven’t played in an AFC title game in 25 years and Andy Reid’s stellar playoff record in KC? They haven’t proved a darn thing IMO, you don’t win the Super Bowl at the midway point of the season.

Chiefs should still rightly be considered the favorite in the AFC for as long as the road to the Super Bowl goes through Arrowhead.

KC is better than NE this season.

Brady has a chance, but NE is the second best team in the afc.

The Patriots have already beaten the Chiefs. Plus, the Chiefs still play

Broncos
Chargers (currently just one game behind the Chiefs in the standings)
Rams
Ravens
Seahawks

so it's not as if they are even a lock to win their division yet.

Who on KCs schedule will beat them? They have maybe ONE tough game on their schedule (@Rams). All signs point to a 15-1 or 14-2 season. This KC team has not shown a penchant for letting schitty teams beat them and/or hang around for a close game like Pats has today (and vs Detroit, Houston, and Jacksonville). They still have a game lead on the Pats and unless some defense figures out how to stop them, the super bowl runs through KC. Can a pats team w kenjon barner running 15x a game win in kc (fully expecting Michel to be done for season - said same thing about Lewis in 2015 when fanboys in here were saying he'd be back in 2 weeks)? Doubt it, Michel was a massive part of beating KC....

Primetime Andy benched. Driskel in. Finally the Bengals have a chance!

Barring injury, KC will win a playoff game imo.

KC should still be the favorite to win the West but people better stop sleeping on the Chargers! They're breathing right on KC's neck! They could also cough one up to either Denver or Oakland on a bad day too!

I think the 2018 Chiefs can very well go the way of the 2007 Pats. Highlight reel regular season with a disappointing ending

They got Bosa coming back soon and Hunter Henry possibly coming back for playoffs. They will be a tough out.

  • KC will be getting Berry and Houston in the same lineup, perhaps, at some point
  • LAC will be getting Bosa back
  • NE will, perhaps, have its WR corps at full strength and integrated, and could get two players back from IR, at some point

All 3 teams have the potential to be improved talent-wise by the end of the season. So I, personally, think it's way too early to be talking about who's going to be the best, or beatable at home or on the road, come playoff time. And that doesn't even count injuries to currently available players.

The Texans game? That isn't one to bring up if you're looking for indications that the Pats are no good, in my opinion.

Not to mention that the Patriots, did in fact, beat the Chiefs.

I agree that the Chiefs are a damn good football team, all the more so when playing at home. They should be considered AFC favorites at this stage but much can change between now and January.

All that aside, the Patriots are well coached enough to beat any team on any day; especially when #12 is quarterbacking the team.

The instant classic GIF is now available; wouldn't mind finding a slightly longer one if someone has it.
