I think you'll find that I'm one of those Pats fans that don't only want things to benefit us. I prefer what's fair, whether that means we win or lose. I don't mind losing fair and square. I believe that builds character, and can harden a team to perform better in that same scenario in the future.

I think they’re referring to before he got the big extension. Not being able to beat out the 2 years 10M from the Bears was inexcusable. The Pats didn’t want that much and I believe they thought they could replace him with Easly, who was then released during that offseason.
