I suppose it makes sense if you assume a Sat night start for game one. I think the NLCS starts Friday, but I could be wrong. They may be managing the shoulder injury/rehab, just the same.

Yeah, but when would game one occur? If the Brewers/Dodgers are on Friday, can we expect a Saturday start for game one? If so, that would still be 4 full days rest with only one inning pitched.

I still think it’s weird, but maybe they’re concerned about rust between last Friday and the next go.
