I always enjoys reading the TV experts thoughts on this matter.

Week 7 Pats vs Bears
CBS has Cowboys/Redskins @4:25
NBC has Rams/Niners @8:20
How do the Rams do ratings wise ?

Week 10 Pats vs Titans
CBS has Seahawks/Rams@4:25

Week 14 Pats vs Dolphins
CBS has Broncos/49ers & Bengals/Chargers@4:05
NBC has Steelers/Raiders @8;20

Pats Bears would make a lot of sense flexing into the Rams-49ers spot.

I hope they don't get flexed.

I think the league will be tentative flexing the Rams out of prime time. They're trying to build the brand in LA. Even if it's a blowout I think they want buzz around that team to build up the stars and get household recognition to help sell football in LA>

Yes. The Rams are clearly the new NFL blowboys.

I'm not sure it will happen because it would make 5 straight prime time games for them.

Weeks 5-9
Colts- TNF
Chiefs- SNF
Bears- 1pm
Bills- MNF
GB- SNF

Think Saints/Ravens could get flexed that week or Chiefs/Bengals

Chiefs Bengals would be good, but I’m not sure the market is there to replace Rams 9ers

Flexed I don't know but fixed you can always expect at least one.

Also remember that CBS and FOX get to protect some number of games from being flexed to SNF.

We already have 5 primetime games(TNF, 3x SNF, MNF) so they could only flex one more game unless the rules have changed.

Can we get Pats/Bills flexed out of MNF instead?
I think that is why the NFL is doing Saturday flexing this year.

They want to see how it goes.
Then they will do it for MNF down the road to keep the right fees high.

That MNF game is a dud from a national standpoint.

The NFL is not legally allowed to televise games on Fridays or Saturdays until the college football regular season is over. So there's not much Saturday flexing they can do.

Week 16 there can be some flexing into Saturday.
Pats game is not one of the games I don't think
