I liked the RB’s going into the season but I have to disagree regarding the WR’s. It was a popular argument throughout the offseason of how weak or not weak they were. Jordan Matthews was a risk (and now somehow playing for the Eagles), Britt was already unreliable and worthless when on the field, and Malcom Mitchell was still wearing a damn knee brace after all that time. Then they bring on Decker who we knew was done, who decided to retire. All those guys are gone.Whelp, ain’t that a *****?! Any other team, and I would put a fork in ‘em. This is incredible. The WR & RB groups going into the season looked soooo stacked! Maybe not a bunch of all-pros, but good, solid ballers you could be hopeful for. Now those positions are a desolate waste land. Sure we get Edelman back (he’s been out of game action for a long time) and sure we’ve got Gordon (which Gordon you’re gonna get, no one ever knows). The LB corps though? I felt like Bentley was all we had. The only guy out there busting his ass and going for it all.
Again, any other team, see ya.
This is Belichick though, and this is the New England ****ing Patriots. If anyone can overcome this ****, it would be them!!
Getting to continue to live in his $4 million, 6,000 square foot home in San Jose instead of moving into a Foxborough hotel sounds like a damn good excuse to me.There was no excuse why they couldn’t have signed him last year.
Are there no good hotels in Boston? Lol.Getting to continue to live in his $4 million, 6,000 square foot home in San Jose instead of moving into a Foxborough hotel sounds like a damn good excuse to me.
With the way injuries are piling up, I don’t think one trade will save this team because there will probably be more injuries and there’s hardly any talent. But I do think the Pats will clean house this offseason like they did after the ‘02 season. I envision them getting aggressive in Free Agency and signing big names like they did in ‘03 and ‘07. The Pats are paying the price for their disastrous offseason moves.
Most of those names you listed will probably be gone.
Well now that you reminded us that we got a practice squad QB and a CB who has played a single snap this year my opinion of the draft class has changed significantly.Crossen and Etling say HI
7 straight afccgLet's be honest here, not trying to be a **** but, does anyone else had an immediate thought like, another pick that won't work, after the selection of Duke Dawson? Not to mention the cost/benefit of drafting a undersized slot CB that high?
Man the Pats needs to revamp their scouting department, totally, clean house.
Yeah, um...no.Dawson has plenty of talent.
If that's Really the case, then Bill should've drafted Justin Reid, someone who actually does have plenty of talent, as opposed to the little Duke (but Not of Dorchester).Maybe he is supposed to be the heir apparent to DMac due to his FS background? I think they probably like his versatility and think he could be the future in either the Chung or the DMac role. I think that’s his future, not slot CB. Was probably a good move if that’s the case.
Agreed.More regretting the Sony Michel pick even though I love his talent and upside.
I'm keeping a Blunt handy, just in case.My wife knows so much more about football than I do. She constantly says we needed to keep Emily Blunt, I mean LGB.
That was Then; This is Now.7 straight afccg
8 sbs in 17 years

Need to clean house. Jesus.
3 sbs in the last 4 years is pretty now. That was Then; This is Now.
Yeah, um...no.
