Difference is Gordon has actually had success and has dominated in this league before. He just needs to stay out of trouble and learn the playbook. Two question marks but the talent is definitely there.

My guard is up and my expectations aren't high even if we get him (closer to Michael Floyd than Randy Moss, given the lack of an offseason/preseason with us), but goddamn it's just exceptionally rare to have a shot at this kind of talent.

It's a trade that's all about potential problems, and comes with a very high likelihood of failure.

And I'm absolutely fine with that. If he craps out, it will still have been worth the try, IMO.

Gordon can make contested catches. With Edelman out Gronk was the only player on the team that could come down with the ball even when they are covered.

If we see the Jags again and they try to defend the Pats o in the same way they did on Sunday Brady is going to throw for 400+.
