In case anyone forgot - Eagles Billboard Merge

It’s not exactly an original idea, but the poor execution here is especially notable. Eagles fans care about that weird dog mask infinitely more than Patriots fans, and the scores as the jersey numbers don’t fit in at all.

Reminds of the Broncos in 2015-16 after beating the Patriots and taking the longest victory lap in league history, making sure everyone was aware of what they did. I have a feeling we’ll see the same collapse from the Eagles over the next few years, a team back in the rat race with the rest of the league with their old banner collecting dust.

I’d like to say that at least we’re above that kinda trolling, but then again our team had to go and put 283 diamonds in the rings last year and make their whole season opener pre-game about 28-3, so i guess even we aren’t immune to taking overlong victory laps

I can't remember a longer victory lap than the ones the Eagles are taking. Maybe the Saints in 2010. I guess both cities deserved to celebrate since it was their first.

What they don't get is that we've won so many that we can't be traumatized by a close SB loss anymore.

I'm not saying we shrug our shoulders and don't care, but if Brady doesn't fumble and leads a last-minute comeback, the assault, suicide and murder rates would have skyrocketed in Philly. We grumble, complain and go about our lives because we've been there enough that we don't have to worry if any given Super Bowl appearance is the last of our lifetime.

It's deeper than that.

We had one Super Bowl stolen in '76, a crazy coach who kept starting an inferior kid in elimination games and benching and cutting a local hero/franchise QB in the 80's, another close loss in '97; we've had the Celts, Sox, and Bruins competitive, even in the 90's, etc.

We know our sports, and it was fun to rub it in a little to the "Greatest Show On Turf" [not made up by us], but we mostly just celebrated.

Plus, Philly won an NFL title before. Granted, a long time ago, but it wasn't frigging 1918. I was the only one in my family not born yet.

It couldn't have been the vikings, it had to be POS Philly fans.. Ugh

A waste of money and mean-spirited. Someone should egg that woman's car.

For a city and a franchise that have historically been complete losers, they’re actually handling this quite well. At the end of the day, they still have to live in the total ****h0le that is Filthadelphia.

I mean, I get it to some extent but Super Bowl Victory >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Pre-Merger NFL championships by a wide margin.

It's like comparing winning $5k in a scratcher in the 80s vs. winning an $800m lotto today.

Guy lost the bet, time to pay up, play stupid games win stupid prizes....

Maybe remind the team on the crappy game they played......well on defense.
