Will he on the side of Ernie in the box or on the sidelines when September comes along?? The intrigue is overwhelming. Seems like a decent addition with links to the rest of the SEC..

The Pats defense had serious problems dealing with the RPO schemes run by KC and Philly last season. BB already runs variations of "pattern-matching" coverage schemes that he and Saban developed when they were together in Cleveland, and that Saban deploys against the RPO at Alabama. However, the Pats DL schemes were completely destroyed by it.

Coaching in the SEC, Bielema saw, and had to attempt to defend against, several variations of the RPO. According to the piece, he's been working primarily with the Pats' DL. While Bielema's experience with the RPO is certainly not THE reason he was hired, his insights certainly won't hurt.
