I think this guy can be a really good player. He's got great measurables, and he started with the first-team defense in minicamp. That probably changes when McCourty gets healthy, but Jackson should still be a solid contributor. Hopefully he has his head on straight, he's stayed out of trouble the last few years.

In a lot of ways, his story up to this point is very similar to that of Malcolm Butler

Not only did he start with the first team defense, but he looked like he belonged. The Patriots offense targeted Jackson, and Jackson almost always ended up on top. One of his more impressive performances of the session came on Day Two. Tom Brady targeted Chris Hogan early, but tight coverage by Jackson forced an incompletion. Jackson continued his strong start by finishing the day with two pass breakups.
Sounds Cat like Quick

Either suspended or make the game winning play in the Super Bowl after riding the bench most of the year

Hoping for the best he was a mid round talent without the other stuff. We need a few guys like this to come through to make up for stolen picks, thankfully we have a good record with them.

Barring injury CB will be tough to break into. With Gilmore, JMac, Rowe, Dawson, Jones, Crossen, Jackson. That is 1, maybe 2, too many. Hopefully we can keep athletic upside over Bolden on ST and Etling is either good or bad enough that we're keeping just 2 QB.

for what?...a free autograph at Starbucks?

Jackson was the only one that could cover DJ Moore in the Big Ten. Find a way to keep him, either last roster spot (would mean the end of Cyrus and one other) or if he doesn't stand out in camp, give him a full roster spot salary and keep him on the practice squad.

The kid has physical ability. Just not sure what he has between the ears.
