Alexander made mistakes, sure, but he looked like a potential star at free safety. His four interceptions and six pass breakups made him a bright spot in Virginia Tech’s secondary.”

Impressive freshman year but it was all downhill from there, it seems. If he runs well at that size during workouts I bet that some team will take a chance on him in the 6th or 7th round. If I recall correctly, I believe that MaineMan is a fan of his. The majority of both college and pro football players probably smoke weed if not regularly at least occasionally (do you recall recent episode with a patriots safety?). In terms of the academics, is he dumb as a rock or is he just immature and classroom lazy and didn’t put any effort into it?

What was his draft projection? If he is a good prospect, I don't see why not a 6th or 7th round pick.

I'm just not seeing it with his tape. He could fit in an aggressive cover 3 defense, but I think he would get eaten alive in the Patriots scheme.
