Titans are trolling. They still won’t be that good.

The Patriot envy in Tennessee has reached epic proportions! I kinda like it. Without the puppet master it will never work, though.

Let's weigh the balance of probabilities that Luke Falk is Tom Brady versus Zach Mettenberger. 43% of QBs selected in the 6th or 7th round never take an NFL snap.

57% does.

Jeeezus. If they had ANY interest in Luke ****in Falk, they would have stayed at 198 and picked Luke ****in Falk.

they worked him out. I'm guessing they already know they'd cut him.

somebody please complain again that the Steelers got their heir apparent with Mason ****in Rudolph.

all those UDFA's we all get giddy about every year? Now they can draft 3 of them in the 7th before they sign elsewhere.

I don't think you want a developmental QB that can't make NFL throws even if he were developed. Chase Litton, if they take him in the 7th, or maybe the Princeton QB are options, maybe. Or look for guys you think you will be able to slide through to the practice squad after they are cut. Eqanwhatever St. Brown or Simmie Cobbs?

So, who's NOT betting that the Pats trade their next pick for two more 7ths?

Of course you know this for sure Mr. time traveler.

Name the last successful 6th round quarterback chosen in the draft and the last successful Mike Leach quarterback selected in the draft.

Careful with generalizations...there's a first for EVERYTHING.

The guy has been passed on 198 times in 3 days. The Pats have taken a couple of practice squad type LB's over him.

At some point, one would think, that fans might get the idea that he Pats just aren't interested of some of these guys

I also don't think it's a slam dunk that a marginal QB prospect would have been guaranteed a roster spot the way you claim. Hoyer has a lock on #2 and the chance of a #3 QB making the roster who is purely developmental and probably has similar talent than a number of practice squad and waiver wire castoff guys the Pats could pick up in August is pretty slim
But at pick # 198 in the SIXTH FREAKING ROUND, who cares who’s passed him up ? You’re taking a swing at the fences. How does it hurt to take a chance on a QB who was ridiculously productive in college, especially when it’s such a late pick. This is EXACTLY WHEN you take a chance like this. And sometimes it works out. Even if he’s a serviceable career backup, it’s better than throwing away the pick. Especially at a need position.

Falk has some Brady in him, has a chip on his shoulder because he was a walk on. Now he has a chip because of being bypassed. Not saying he’s the next Brady, or even a starter in the league, but how is NOT taking a chance on him, and NOT USING the pick at this point more beneficial than trading the pick ? Really is ridiculous at THIS point in the draft. Who knows, maybe it was time for a late lunch so they traded the pick.
