Looks like Bill's planning on hanging around for 2019.

Projected Comps will depend if Patriots trade/pick-up players in FA, I think.

I will say this:

Not impossible that some of these future draft picks we’re acquiring get traded again next fall for a player or two.

Maybe brady' s playing the next 4 to 5 years

Or possibly before the season starts next year.

I would say it’s very probable. As for as qb we have the ammo to move up

I guess bill thinks Duke Dawkson's the only legit defensive player in this year's draft.

BB hates this draft.
It's really the only explanation.

I kind of like seeing all the Patriots 'draft experts' on twitter pontificating about how this was all completely predictable and that fans don't understand BB as well as they do--meanwhile they keep shoving under the rug how before every round they were saying "Here's where BB is gonna shut fans up and make another Trey Flowers-esque pick!!!".

Well the parrot was a damp squib.

Question for draft value experts.Assume Pats Get 32 pick next year.
What do they need to trade to get to #1 and do they now have that ammo ?

2019 draft pick update

(1) 1st round
(2) 2nd round
(3*) 3rd round (*projected to get (2) 3rd round comp picks)

Detroit's next year's third
the best Belichick could get in the 4th was a jump on the UDFA's with the 6ths AND a 3rd rounder in 2019.

Now, Belichick has plenty of ammunition to go out and trade in July and August for a vet or two. Such a player has a much better chance to make 2018 contributions that a 4th round draft pick.

There is no point picking someone if they don't think there is anyone out there who can help them this year.

Having picks for next year is vital if we want to move about for a possible QB. Gives you the option of moving up in the 1st if needed.

If we pick either Shaun Dion Hamilton, Foye Oluokon or Christian Sam I'll be happy.
